What is a water heater? It’s a small unit that heats the water to where it’s needed, whether it’s for a bathroom sink, shower, tub, kitchen sink, and or washing machine. 

What is the difference between the traditional tank and the tankless? The tank only boils depending on the gallon you purchase as for the tankless; it has a flowing sensing device that gets activated whenever a hot water tap is opened. 

What is the lifespan for your water heater? Normally the life span for a tank is anywhere between 8-12 years and a tankless is anywhere between 15-20 years.

What is more affordable? The tank includes parts and labor. Although, tankless can save you more money over time if the hot water is being used frequently.

What should you know about water heaters? If you already have a water heater and would like to get a tankless water heater, you need to make sure you have enough BTU’s since water heaters are an average of 50,000 BTU’s and a tankless has 200,000 BTU’s. If you do not have enough BTU’s, you will not get gas in all places. You can always upgrade by contacting the gas company and they will adjust at free of charge.
