“i’ve decided yellow is my color.” quincy announced and grinned, looking back at the floor length mirror and admiring the yellow jacket he was wearing. it was bold, to say the least, but if you asked him, he was pulling it off beautifully. “i mean, look at this. tell me i look stunning.” he added with a teasing smile as he turned back towards them. “besides, not only is yellow the happiest color, but it exudes confidence. you know? it really seems like a color a future company ceo would wear.” it didn’t. but quincy decided it did and nothing was going to convince him otherwise now. “then again…” he frowned, turned back to look at his reflection, “maybe it’s a bit much?” he stared for a moment longer, thinking about the ramifications of a guy who consistently wore yellow as a statement, and he wasn’t hating any of the thoughts that came to mind. “who am i kidding, it’s perfect and i look like an absolutely king in this jacket.” he laughed, “what about you, do you want me to come up with your core essence color? because i’m kind of a genius at this.”
bridie fails to disguise the sickeningly endeared smile that creeps to her lips as she observes quincy admiring himself. “you do look pretty striking... and not just because that yellow is bright as fuck.” she isn’t typically the type to offer compliments with ease, but she is all for self-love, & the way that quincy is beaming at himself in his garish attire is worth the lapse in her icy front. “does black count? or i could see red... why, what is your ingenuity detecting?”

𝒖𝒑𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 › bridie is the daughter of german supermodel mila dohman & her american lover, james fitzpatrick. the fling only lasted long enough to see bridie to her first birthday, along with a relocation to the states. her relationship with her family has always been strained. with her parents it was distant - after leaving her mother, it wasn’t long before james had a new family to cater to, not that he had taken much effort to be involved in bridie’s life prior, & her mother had always been too wrapped up in her own life to truly connect with her daughter (or her other children to come). sibling-wise, bridie’s family tree is slightly confusing. she has three step-siblings, one ex step-sibling & three half-siblings. growing up, it was mostly just her and her two sisters; her older sister anya and her younger sister sofia. in fact, anya practically raised the family, emotionally at least, despite only being four years older than bridie. currently, their relationship is practically non-existent.
𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 › for lack of better wording, bridie is a bit of an odd-ball. like, a strong muse inspiration for her is effie stonem. as a child she was much more demure, but during her teens she blossomed into the unfiltered, impulsive emo mess you see today <3 bridie is the epitome of ‘live fast die young’. she has 0 filter & is wholeheartedly driven on impulse / emotion. it’s not so much that she’s careless (though she certainly can be), but that she simply wants to live her life to the full. she definitely harbours some toxic coping mechanisms; drinking, smoking, sex - not that she’ll ever admit that there’s a problem. as a result, she’s earned herself a somewhat negative reputation that she’ll pretend she doesn’t care about. most people tend to underestimate her due to how they expect her to be, but she’s a lot smarter than they give her credit for. her heart is also a lot warmer than her icy exterior would suggest - she’s a total softie for animals, deep-down still believes in the concept of soulmates, & is 100% the type of friend to hold you while you cry then go handle the mf who made you.
𝒕𝒊𝒅𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒔 › bride has been the lead singer for a total of three ‘garage’ bands now but her lack of time management & inability to take anything seriously means she’s been booted out of all three. she volunteers at the shelter a lot to temporarily fulfil her desire for a furry friend - though she has been caught trying to sneak stray cats into her room one too many times. queen of stick & poke ! if you want a slightly wonky tattoo, bridie’s your gal (for a price). loves fashion & runs a depop page where she sells on old clothes & her handmade earrings. i imagine that when u rly make her laugh she has the most obnoxiously loud cackle u have ever heard (which she will hit u for making her do) fjdjsks that isn’t relevant but i’m in too deep. she’s not rly the touchy-feely type unless she’s like rly close to you, then her understanding of personal boundaries can become a little blurred.
