did not come to play

Yaretzi just looked at Dolce with a unstaisfied look on her face. She shrugged her shoulders then made eye contact with the girl speaking in a calm tone. “Throw my shit in the water and you’ll be going in right after it.”

“cute.except the deed has already been done and here i am dry and freshly massaged.” she smirked. “i did you a favor anyway, none of that shit look name-brand.”

“before i go i just want to say one thing,” she said, waiting for the crowd to stop clapping. “please remember not to let anyone take your light. your bullies, your abusers, and your rapist don’t deserve to get your light,” she said into the microphone, feeling her eyes brim with tears. “you are all beautiful and those people- the people that tried to ruin us are the ugly ones,” she continued. “what happened to you does not define you, believe me it doesn’t, but it makes you stronger. I love you guys so much, stay strong,” she said as the crowd stood up and gave her a standing ovation. after a couple moments, she stepped off the stage and wiped at her tears. “thank you so much for coming- how was i?” she asked the housemate in front of her, taking a hold of a towel one of her people offered her.

during the course of aulani’s speech, dolce’s eyes had pooled with water. although the words were addressed to the entire room, they felt so personal to her and her situation. quickly wiping her running mascara, dolce sniffled and fixed her posture. “it was wonderful, now where’s the free food?” she replied, half joking as she swallowed the lump in her throat from crying. “i’m kidding-ish. the speech was uh- thanks for inviting me. it was something i needed to hear. and your ass looked fat in that dress.”

“i was actually high as fuck when you were talking earlier but that wasn’t my shit and i don’t use hair dryers so…”

“well then, good. i feel slightly less bad now.”

“and i told you it’s not my shit, so don’t pull that bullshit with me,” she rolled her eyes, tired of dolce’s attitude. 

“whatever,” she replied. “shits out back now anyway regardless of who’s it is.”

alayla watched the girl from the kitchen counter, proud as her friend spoke. once she was done, alayla began to clap. “you’re so perfect.”

dolce flipped her hair over her shoulder, a smile of satisfaction present on her lips. “i know,” she told her friend. “god, i’m glad you’re here with me.”

She quickly grabbed both her luggages, slipped on her backpack and made her way to the house. She opened up the door and gasped at how beautiful the cabin was. “Anyone here?” she asked as she dropped off her luggage and started looking around trying to find out where her room was. Baylynne was busy taking care of personal business so she arrived later than some of the other members had.

dolce twisted her neck away from the fridge when she heard the familiar voice. “baylynne?” she replied, her voice in disbelief despite seeing the girl stand before her. “holy shit, it’s really you.” she closed the fridge and walked towards her ex for an embrace. “what are you doing here?”

“are you fucking kidding me dolce,” anya said, honestly not realizing how fast time went as she worked on her new fashion post.  “i literally had two fucking brushes and my hair dryer, how was that bothering you? the bathroom’s huge!”

“don’t be so inconsiderate, onion. other people live here.” she looked over at her lap top. “jesus, how many hours a day do you spend flicking your bean to child porn?”

“I think I’ll pass.”

“honey, i’m sorry,” she flashed a fake smile. "let me rephrase that for you.” her hands clasped together. “you can stay on the bed and get your ass beat, or you can remove yourself from the bed and walk away with all of your hair in your head.”

“I think I’m gonna stay here all day, or go out and party…what’d you think?”

“i think you should get the fuck off my bed.”
