HISTORY:

growing up in australia , chloe was also infatuated with the idea of moving to america as an adult . her father worked four months a year as an adjunct professor of architecture at columbia , &  she would often tag along with her father for trips when she could . as a teen , she ignored all typical teen experiences  --  going to parties , experimenting with alcohol  &  drugs , falling in love & having sex  --  in order to focus on getting enough money to take herself to new york city  &  make it into the nyu tisch school of the arts . eventually , her dream came true  --  she was accepted into the program  &  didn’t think twice about leaving her homeland ( she didn’t have many friends , anyway , because of her dedication to her dream )  &  moving into a grungy , nasty little studio apartment in manhattan . her parents were wealthy enough to help her out if she asked , but she wanted to do everything on her own , thinking that if she was grown enough to move to america , she was grown enough to pay her own bills . eventually , she moved out of there because the landlord was creepy  &  the rent was too high ,  &  a friend  (  possible plot  !!  ) told her about a vacancy at tower 28  !!  she eagerly moved in with two roommates , val  &  leo ,  &  has loved living in the building .

PERSONALITY :

chloe tries to personify sunshine with every step she takes . she has found it difficult to get used to the fast - paced , sometimes scary lifestyle new york city brings ,  &  actively tries to bring some light  &  happiness into the world . it can be annoying sometimes , the girl often going out of her way to leave flowers all over the lobby , or sticky notes in the elevator saying dumb things like “ today’s a good day to have a good day  !!  ”  but overall her intentions are pure . she can be overly enthusiastic when people want to spend time with her ,  &  that  sometimes leads to miscommunications in feelings (  because she’s quite the hopeless romantic tbfh )  ,  &  tends to create a romanticized view of everyone in her head . she can also become quite dependent  &  clingy in relationships too because of this , with her being so infatuated that she’s wanting to hang out like 3 times a day , so much so that it’s probably smothering .

WANTED PLOTS :

first time ( 0 / 1 ) : this probably would’ve been when she first moved in ( 3 years ago ) ,  &  she wouldn’t have told them they were her first time . she probably wasn’t great in bed ( as no one is their first time ) ,  &  it’s probably been awkward between them ever since . 

best friends ( 0 / 2 ) : these are the people chloe knows she can count on for anything  &  everything . she spoils them rotten ( as much as she can , usually with baking or little presents every once in a while when she sees something they’d like ) . they know everything about her  &  she makes an effort to know everything about them .

casual fling ( 0 / 1 ) : chloe’s not normally the type for casual flings , but her  &  your muse kept running into one another in the laundry room ,  &  eventually started flirting ,  &  one thing led to another  &  now they’ve been doing this dance of hooking up in random places around the building .  chloe probably has a lil crush on them ,  &  she’s probably super obvious ( though thinking she’s hiding it ) . 

exes on bad terms ( 0 / 1 ) : im thinking this would’ve been a few months ago , so that the Tea is still Fresh 🤡 she was probably really into them  &  they might’ve felt trapped , leading to the demise of their relationship because of a lack of communication ( &  . . . .. preferably some other drama too hehehe ) . 

exes who . . . . . . are still doing the do ( 0 / 1 ) : they broke up on bad terms for whatever reason , but since getting drunk on night  &  accidentally sleeping with one another , they can’t seem to stop . it’s lots of stolen glances across packed rooms , casually passing by the other a little too closely ,  &  late night ‘ wyd ‘ texts . they’re trying to keep it a secret because they know their friends would disapprove , but they’re also having tons of fun with the secret nature of it .

day one nyc friend / mutual guardian angel ( 0 / 1 ) : this person was the one who recommended chloe move into the building after hearing about her terrible experience at her last apartment . they’ve remained close over the years , & will often go out of their way to do something helpful for the other or take care of them . 

fwbs ( 0 / ? ) : since first losing her v card within the first few months of living in the building , chloe has entertained a handful of flings  &  fwbs . she tends to get attached , though ,  &  want more , but probably doesn’t say anything unless the other does first .

customer / barista crush ( 0 / 1 ) : your character always comes to chloe’s coffee shop ,  &  over the few minutes every morning they have light chit chat , the two have developed a little crush / flirtationship with one another . they both think the other is cute , but neither thinks much of it considering they only talk a few minutes every morning then go on with their busy days . little do they know . . .  they live in the same building  !!  somehow , up to this point , they haven’t noticed it  !!

on again off again ( 0 / 1 ) : they’ve called things off then gotten back together so many times its hard to keep track . for whatever reason , the two are naturally drawn to one another , but always end up putting the relationship on pause every once in a while due to conflicting schedules .
