You gotta be able to take an L if your moral and ethical belief systems are to be capable of guiding you. you cannot just socially transition into being a good person you are going to have to settle for being a messy human being who has to try and fail and keep trying to get better like everyone else. yeah even when it's embarassing and sucks for you a lot.

YES. they/them are often used to invalidate binary trans people, when i went by he/him i had many people say "well i dont think youre a guy so i'll use they/them to meet in the middle." even if thats not how you mean it that can be how it can come across.
It’s also not okay to replace a nonbinary person’s pronouns with they/them just because you find they/them to be easier or more socially acceptable or whatever. If someone is a fae, use fae. If someone is an it, use it. If you struggle a bit to get the hang of it I’m sure the person will appreciate that effort more than you just giving up.

something tragic and just chaotic and unrealistic happens every episode and somehow the main character has cheated death for the whole 22 seasons despite being in explosions, drowning, plane crash etc and only about 3 of the main cast remain - the rest have left or been killed off
