Today was a very stressful and testing day for me. It made me doubt and question God. Trusting Him has been VERY hard for me. I'm thankful for friends that care about me spiritually and are willing to help me when I need it. I'm also thankful that they point me towards God during this storm. I'm picking myself back up and I'm praying to see the blessing. First of all, Happy Valentine's Day! These photos were of me when I was 18... I know.. I look super different lol obviously I was still a goof back then. At this time of my life, I was in a very abusive relationship. I hadn't lived on my own yet. I was finishing up graduating high school. I thought I knew EVERYTHING..lol This was during one of the toughest times of my life. My perspective of love was very skewed. I was always wondering if I was letting people down and I felt like a disappointment to everyone around me. These photos make me wish I could hug myself then and tell myself that things will get better. These photos make me emotional because I continued down a path of finding love in all the wrong places when this relationship finally ended. I didn't know who God was. I didn't even know who I was. I'm so blessed to be able to see my worth in God. I know I have purpose. I was given strength to overcome fears and gain wisdom from the life I was living. All praises to God, honestly. He was keeping me safe during my reckless lifestyle and keeps me safe now. He is my refuge. He is my safe place. His son is my Savior.
