"Right, maybe we’ll get lucky with that. What kind of stuff did you have in that bag?" 

"Some of my military supplies. Not guns or anything, but knives, string, a tent, my uniforms, things like that... Stuff that would be very helpful."

"Well the swim from where the plane ended up to the island wasn’t that far, right? I’m assuming the cargo hold went down with the rest of the plane, then it shouldn’t be that far out. The only trouble would be that it sunk over the past few days, who knows how deep the water gets out there." 

"The swim wasn't that far, so unless there is a sinkhole or something it's possible the cargo hold isn't that far down, either. I'll have to start a survey of the area -- out there in the water I mean -- to check it out. If we're lucky who knows..."

"Ha, I was thinking more Survivor. Who are we all going to stab in the back and vote off the island first. Nature isn’t exactly my thing but at this rate, I doubt we’ll be catching much." 

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see. C'mon. Lets attempt this."

"It’s most certainly a start, isn’t it? And as I mentioned, better than the crap we’ve been eating lately. Soon enough we’ll be running around in loincloths and using berries to paint on rocks. Needless to say, this was not how I saw my trip ending." 

"Well, as long as we don't end up something along the lines of Lord of the Flies, I'll be okay. -- Here, I don't know how good I'll be at it, but I'll help you try to catch some fish."

"By now there’s probably a few down the beach quite a ways. I haven’t traveled that far down the beach yet, but it all depends on how damaged the cargo hold was, if at all." 

"I'm hoping my luggage was strong enough to withstand at least some of the impact. It should have been, anyway. I'll go have a look later. -- How far off the island would you say the cargo hold may have landed?"

"Yeah, I’ll give you a hand with all that. I’ve been going through what I could find that washed up on the beach, I’m pretty sure there has to be something we could use in there." 

"I'd appreciate that. Have you seen any lost bags wash up yet? I'm hoping mine is still out there somewhere... It would be very helpful right now."

"There isn’t much hope left for that plane, we might as well use whatever we can from it. Scrap parts, weapons, tools, what have you. The electrical is all shot so we should be able to get our hands on wires and things." 

"Sounds good. If we strip the rubber off the wires we can use that too, braid it into the yarn to make it stronger."

"The water’s calm today, it’s good weather. We could probably put together some makeshift fishing rods or nets or something and try to catch some fish instead of eating leaves, get some actual sustenance for once." 

"It might be good to just start making spears out of sticks and using those. Attempting to, anyway."

"That’ll give us a chance to start getting some more important things done around this camp in the meantime, too. Tell me what you think we need and I’ll get whatever I can find, give you a hand in putting it all together." 

"Well, I don't mean to destroy the plane any further then what's already been done to it, but there's got to be a lot of wires we could pull out and use to reinforce this yarn, that'd probably be helpful."

"Well, here’s the yarn. I hope that whatever you’re doing with it, it helps us in some way."

"Yeah. Me too. Thanks for this, I'll try to make it work."

"Twenty-four. I get that a lot; but it was the only thing that kept my head above water. Thank you for noticing."

"Yeah. I can understand that."

"Haven’t come across any of that, but I like your thinking. I’m sure we’d be able to pull something together if need be. What’s your plan?"

"I figured we could use the scraps of metal, and whatever else that washed up on shore and tie those together. So if any of those... zombies I guess we're calling them, wander past it will make a noise and we'll know they're around. It's better than having to keep an eye on the trees."

"You’re very welcome."

"Intelligent because you trained your mind. Take the compliment, ‘cause they’re very rare when they come from me. It’s a pleasure to meet you Brice."
