after years of struggling to conceive, roselie diana was born at the break of dawn on the first day of spring – march twentieth – to stephan & lyla leroux. she was their miracle, their ray of sunshine. growing up, she would want for nothing, though the young girl never wanted for much regardless – she was easily pleased as a child, hardly ever fussy. her mother insisted roselie grow up talented, enrolling the girl in ballet and violin lessons as soon as she was of age. ballet classes never bothered roselie, she loved dancing and loved the social aspect of it – but she hated her violin lessons. still, her mother was ever insistent and refused to let roselie quit. her daughter was perfect, after all, and must present perfectly to the world. on roselie's seventh birthday, she suffered a medical emergency that had her parents terrified – after months of tests, the young girl was diagnosed with severe narcolepsy. lyla's idea of a perfect daughter seemed to come crashing down – and she refused to accept roselie‘s condition as such. despite this, roselie was to be sheltered. she was forced to quit ballet and her violin lessons were now private, both no longer a social aspect for the young girl. quickly and at a young age, roselie found herself lonely. she didn’t have much of a social circle anymore, except when she attended school. that was the only times she truly got to see her friends. roselie has always longed for a normal life. now an adult and having gone to college in botany, she took over her family's flower shop when her mother retired. it wasn't her dream, but she loved her mother and loved the shop. roselie dreams of finding herself outside of prism falls – and finding love.

𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

•  𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆  𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒑 ( frederic valois ) →  he's  new  to  town,  but  you  could  swear  you've  met  him  before.  you're  not  supposed  to  speak  to  strangers,  but  he  pulls  you  in  and  brings  out  the  adventurous  side  that  you've  never  been  allowed  to  explore. 

•  𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂  ( tba ) →  she's  your  oldest  friend  and  if  anyone  understands  how  stifled  you  feel  in  prism  falls,  it's  her.  you  confide  in  her  about  everything,  but  you're  afraid  to  tell  her  about  your  handsome  stranger. 

•  𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒆  ( tba ) →  the  kind  gentlemen  is  a  frequent  patron  of  your  shop  and  the  two  of  your  often  joke  that  his  business  alone  is  enough  to  keep  you  afloat.  you  don't  know  him  very  well,  no  more  than  any  acquaintance  would,  but  any  time  you  see  him  about  town  you  can't  help  but  to  be  curious  about  the  man  who  would  spend  so  endlessly  to  make  his  love  smile. 

•  𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒂,  𝒇𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒂  &  𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓  ( tba ) →  you  know  your  older  cousins  have  always  been  protective  over  you,  and  they  mean  well,  but  you  feel  suffocated  by  them.  you  feel  guilty  hiding  things  from  them,  but  if  you  didn't,  you'd  never  learn  who  you  are.

𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

•  𝒆𝒙-𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅  ( felix winward )→  someone in her circle  roselie  used  to  date  then  they  broke  up.  up  to  discussion  who  broke  up  with  who!  maybe  it  was  a  nasty  breakup,  maybe  they're  still  into  roselie?  drama! ( 1 / 1 ) roselie and felix dated for four years, having now been broken up for a year. roselie has since moved on, but due to her naivety and kindness, remains close to felix — unable to understand she is leading him on.

•  𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒅  𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅(𝒔)  →  two  to  three  friends  that  roselie  was  very  close  to  when  she  was  younger,  and  unfortunately  did  not  get  to  see  much  after  her  narcolepsy  diagnosis  and  her  mother  pulled  her  out  of  her  social  activities.  they  drifted  apart  but  have  come  back  together  in  recent  years  now  that  roselie  runs  the  flower  shop  and  has  begun  to  find  a  sense  of  independence. •  𝒂𝒏  𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒍𝒚  𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅  ( malachi corvinus ) →  someone  that  is  completely  unlike  someone  roselie would  usually  befriend,  but  maybe  they  met  in  the  flower  shop  or  in  their  place  of  employment!  they  had  something  strangely  in  common,  and  from  there,  conversation  happened  and  a  friendship  formed.  ( 1 / 1 )

•  𝒂  𝒃𝒂𝒅  𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆  →  someone  who  sees  what  a  sheltered  individual  aurora  is  and  is  determined  to  corrupt  her.  this  individual  may  try  to  take  roselie  to  the  bars,  the  speakeasy,  etc;  places  she  wouldn't  frequent  on  her  own! ( 0 / 1 )
