Since stranger things is coming to a close tomorrow I feel I should say some of my headcanons (most being byler and or just will and Mike)
Will Byers has always loved the muppets - begging his mom to let him watch the reruns on school nights
Mike went to see karate kid with will, Dustin, and Lucas, but Mike was the only one to have an obsession over it
Mike and will made a blood promise after will come back from the upside down that they would always be with each other
Pre-s1 Mike and will made comics together. Mike wrote and will drew
When Joyce was in school she was a theater kid, when will went to California he joined theater.
When will and El were in California both will and Mike wrote letters to each other, but never sent them
When Mike was younger and got really sad the wheelers had to call up the Byers, because will was the only one who could calm him down.
Robin showed will all sorts of new music such as The Bangles, the velvet underground, R.E.M, The Cure, The Smiths, and Depeche Mode
After saving the world and all that jazz, robin heard this new song on the radio and showed everything. The song was “it’s the end of the world as we know it” by REM
Steve is surprisingly good at cooking and baking
