Having a summer! Drinking a #Schnickelfritz Hefeweizen by @urbanchestnut at their #brewery in sunny #StLouis Missouri. The beer had a classic smooth body, with plenty of banana and clove to zest up this wheat treat. This #berlinerweisse has stolen my heart! “Little Thief” picks up where @grimmales’ #gathering series leaves off, steeping this light but tart #ale with grape skins to give this #craftbeer its signature color with just a hint of merlot. Pairs well with sausage, cheese and fruit so bring a partner, friend, or lover to share a toast on #ValentinesDay! Just a couple blocks over from where the author of “The Raven” once lived, you can take a #flight with Philadelphia’s newest #brewpub by @yardsbrew. Their newest facility doesn’t offer any #brewery tours, but you can still sample their brews in a massive lofted beer hall with views of their fermentation tanks through the floor to ceiling windows. While visiting we took a flight of Yards’ Revolutionary series, with recipes inspired by the founding fathers. From left to right: George Washington’s #porter, Thomas Jefferson’s #ale, and Ben Franklin’s #spruce beer. I finished the flight with @yardsbrew’s Love Stout, and finished my visit with a full pour of their ESA on #nitro. If you’re visiting Philly, you should definitely give @yardsbrew a visit! Happy holidays! This year we visited the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis, MO for #BreweryLights. Every year this historic brewery opens its gates to the public for free walking tours, holiday snacks, fireside chats, photo ops, and of course the namesake light show. It’s a great activity for families and large groups, and beer lovers can treat themselves to free samples of beer. However you celebrate the season, wishing you a very #hoppy holidays and cheers to tasty beers! (at Anheuser-Busch Brewery)

If you're looking for an seaside escape on a hot summer day, #RockawayBeach is always a solid bet. In between soaking up the sun and swimming in the seas, locals know to stop by @rippers86 for a burger and a beer in the shade. If you're looking to cool down and relax for a few, just skip the line and head to the bar in the back. There are plenty of great beers to pick, but my favorite has to be @rockawaybrewco's Rippers IPA on draft. Brewed especially for this beachside mainstay, this #IPA has a blend of bitter and citrus hops and a cloudy (unfiltered?) body that make for full-flavored but not to heavy sipping that pairs perfectly with Rippers' signature cheeseburgers. It's a lid back craft IPA, but just remember that you can't bring it with you on the beach. (at Rippers)
