The latest “please give me money” grab from ghost-oakes aka twisted-teeth on FA. Notice that at the end he says he spent the cash he received not on rent, food, or utilities, but on boots. Fucking boots. This is not something someone really strapped for cash does, and the ONLY REASON he’s continuing to get away with this is because PEOPLE KEEP GIVING HIM FUCKING MONEY. Also notice the blatant pity-party he throws to stop people from being too angry.

That being said, DO NOT GIVE THIS DUDE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A KICKSTARTER REPORT AND A HEARTY ‘FUCK YOU.’ He has stolen over 6K and admitted to spending it. He claims it was spent on the dakis  he funded A YEAR AGO but that’s bullshit, we know he spent it on weed and other nonsense he didn’t actually need. He even claims that 6K was STILL not enough for the daki project, which is also a crock of shit. 

Not to my knowledge. 

As far as I know, the most recent update Tucker has given was a sketch page of concepts, despite him knowing there would be no dakis, so he’s basically just stringing people along at this point. I don’t think he’s personally addressed his Kickstarter backers yet about how he used up all the money (if anyone would like to inform me otherwise so i can correct this post, please let me know).

All we know from the journal he posted on FA is that all the money for the pillows is gone.

That being said, he does have a refund form up HERE. 

You need an FA URL because for some reason he’s only offering refunds for giant backlog of commissions he owes and not the $6k he scammed from people, but I would suggest trying that anyways, as well as heading over to Kickstarter and reporting his project for fraud.

He’s been begging for money on FurAffinity and taking in more commissions he’s likely not gonna do (because instead of doing the commissions he’s offering refunds for he has to….. take more? idk why ppl keep giving him money, he’s shown he can’t be trusted with the money he recieves ). 

Like basically every journal he’s posted this past month has been him asking for more money, yet somehow he manages to squeeze juuuuust enough from his followers to save the day. Maybe he really is scrapped for cash, but to be frank I don’t believe fucking anything this dude says anymore.

so, i gathered just a handful testimonials from replies and messages revealing just how unprofessional they are with their commission work by leaving their commissioners in silence for months. do not commission ghost-oakes unless you want to wait for months, watching them pump out other commissions and art while you twiddle your thumbs 

On top of that— I dunno if he still has this policy, but his TOS on FA at one point said that if you filed a chargeback, he got to keep your character to sell off as an adoptable.

That’s. Insane. Especially considering his work ethic.

Dude was fully ambulatory and able to work when I knew him in 2014 (despite claiming things like cancer, kidney problems and sepsis THE WHOLE TIME… SEPSIS, which shoulda had him hospitalized or dead) and combined with a history of lying about being a victim of other events and people, I’m very skeptical of his ever-evolving health claims.

Ghost-Oakes will take your commissions that he has no intention of fulfilling, and if you charge him back because He Is Not Doing His Job

This is my favorite of all the tall tales ghost-oakes/Tucker told me. It “unfolded” in real time over about a month. It had everything for a good story– a mystery, a clear villain, tension, pointless violence and subterfuge, and an unforgettable climax. Tucker looked very badass throughout. I remember being amazed that unlike my real-life conflicts, Tucker’s conflicts got wrapped up neatly all the time!

Unfortunately parts of it are lost forever because they were told via text, but I’ll do my best to fill in what I remember.

It started one night when someone “knocked on his door”.

Last one for awhile, still in HARMLESS TERRITORY: Here’s chats from the time ghost-oakes/Tucker sent me an anonymous message on Tumblr that said: 

“I ship you n Tuck, is that weird?”

I could tell it was him, but a tracker confirmed it. I was… disappointed, but amused. I certainly liked him, but not romantically. My way of dealing with crushes was to act oblivious until the guy dropped the innuendo or lost interest, but Tucker had outlasted them all by far. This guy drew softcore porn of us as dragons and talked about buying a house for me. This anon wasn’t even the fiftieth hint.

(How do you obliviously deal with getting porn of yourself, you ask? “I love the crosshatching.”)

So in the interest of staying oblivious– and because 21-year-olds should not be sending me this stupid grade school shit– I just ignored it.

So then he sent HIMSELF an ask saying the same thing. And showed it to me like “hmm, what’s this all about???” Which is what you see above. ^^^

Note how completely over this I act from the beginning. Note that he ac-tu-ally asked someone else if they did it, to cover his ass.

Tucker would often remind me that the person he asked was jealous of the attention I was getting from him. He also gradually framed them as a burden, eventually talking about them like he truly hated everything about them. Them sending me a cutesy message didn’t make any sense.
