Right, that made sense. She wasn’t the most observant tactician so if her attention was focused on something else, someone could easily sneak up on her with little effort. She was luckily no one has tried to assassinate her yet or she’d most likely be dead by now. “R-Right sorry....” The summoner offers him a cracked smile as she rubs the back of her neck.

“I’ve just been looking at some old pictures on my phone that’s all.” She could tell him that as much as she wanted but her eyes clearly gave away that there was something deeply troubling her.

The summoner was up late, a rare occurrence since she usually fell asleep with ease due to sheer exhaustion. But tonight she was unable to get some much needed sleep so she instead walked around the halls of the castle and eventually found herself in the gardens.

It was a picture of a man and a woman standing beside a slightly younger Kiran. "I miss you...” She murmurs softly as she zooms in to look at their smiling faces. Sighing she puts her phone away only to take notice of the prince in front of her.

There’s a good chance Kiran will never be able to return to her realm. Since she comes from a world without magic I imagine it would be incredibly difficult to create a connection between her realm and the realm of Askr. Which would explain why Anna used a special ritual that was only able to summon a person and even that was a gamble.
