Veles

Round 1: +4

Round 2: MISS (ROWAN disadvantage)

Veles dons sunglasses this time, to make sure no unexpected sunlight gets the better of him. It gives extra style points as he throws his first caber across the arena. The audience cheers immediately, excited for his performance. On his second through, though, the wind picks up and, just like last time, his kilt gets thrown up in the wind. Veles huffs and tries to right himself, missing a log toss in the process, but the audience cheers even louder at the view.

Round 3: +4 (trick-or-treat HAWTHORNE bonus)

Round 4: +1

Round 5: +2 (FAVOR bonus)

In an effort to recover from the kilt incident, Veles readies a dramatic, powerful throw. He grabs his log and spins around with it, gaining extra momentum to throw it across the arena. The audience cheers anew, and it spurs Veles on for the next two tosses, which carry a decent score.

Score: 2.2

“Goodness! Sir Veles had quite the throw in that third round. Very impressive.”

"I have seen things that I will never unsee.”

“Chrom, please, try to be mature...”

Titania:

Round 1: MISS

Round 2: +4

Titania is not as lucky as Veles is. She doesn’t lift her first log right, and it slips from her grip in a fumble. Her second, though, is thrown the whole length and is a much better display of Titania’s strength.

Round 3: MISS

Round 4: +1

Round 5: MISS

As Titania lifts her next log, a gust of wind blows some leaves into her face and Titania drops her log. She is still recovering from the confusion on her fourth toss, and it only gets a quarter of the way there. On her final round, another gust blows through, making the mercenary sneeze as she fumbles.

Score: 1

"Well done to you both! Lady Titania did her best, but I think she is a bit more skilled with an ax than she is at throwing logs.”

“I couldn’t comment - I’m too traumatised from Veles’ turn to process anything. Remind me who won?”
