Once You THINC It, INC It: Great Scott's Modern-Day Guide for Young Entrepreneurs on Growing and Navigating as a Brand
Be sure to check out my latest Huffington Post submission … Can also be found on Ranacampbell.com and thenewsontime.com!!
“Do not follow your dreams — follow your efforts. Follow the things that you do organically.” —THINC
Marketer and social media strategist Scott “Great Scott” McKenzie has released his third book (and very first audio book), titled THINC: Once You THINC It, INC It, produced by Sirius XM associate producer Jameson Bennett. Scott is a seasoned marketing guru who’s had the opportunity to work with major corporations and industry vets such as McDonald’s, the Billionaire Boys Club, Reebok, Y-3, Donna Karan, The Fugees, Pharrell, and a host of others.
In this business-focused audio manual, listeners are presented with an in-depth and bluntly realistic explanation of how they can discover their passion and monetize it. THINC definitely targets young entrepreneurs on the rise, offering invaluable wisdom and insight based on Scott’s personal experiences, and challenging listeners to find the victory within every defeat. THINC has been considered a modern-day blueprint for growing and navigating as a brand in business — it’s dedicated to “shifting the culture forward and making sense of corporate America” — and in my opinion it’s a life-advancement tool for teenagers and young adults.

Abby-Z Talks Networking and Keys to Being a Successful Woman in Business
"It makes me crazy when people tell me that they don't have a job. You have been given so much in this new way of life to create your own lane. Network. Go to events. and going online to find out what's happening in your city where you could go meet people and ask them for their business cards. Just put yourself out there." -- AbbyZ
A word to describe Abby-Z, would be: assertive! Twenty-five years ago, Abby made a bold move to New York City, to pursue her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Upon arriving from Los Angeles, California, Abby knew no one and had to pave her way (from scratch) in the Big Apple.
By diligently working hard and networking her tail off, Abby was able to make a name for herself. As she set out to accomplish what she envisioned, Abby was able to rub elbows with prominent business moguls while establishing her brand. What set Abby apart from most fashion designers was the fact that she redefined style for the "curvy girl" by designing clothing that both curvy and skinny women could appreciate and look great in without feeling excluded by their size.
I was able to chat with Abby-Z about her take on networking within the fashion industry, while also learning some valuable jewels on excelling as a woman in business.

Excerpt From my Blog Post Written for HuffPost: "It's OK to Have a Change of Heart About Your Major"
You know that major you've dreamt of taking up in college? The one you've been adamant and head strong about since your sophomore/junior year of high school?
Well, within your first year as an undergrad, it's likely that you will have a change of heart about your particular major... and I'm here to tell you that it's OK. No, you are not a failure. You're just being realistic with yourself and true passions.
As a little girl, up until my freshman year of college my mind was set on becoming an Obstetrician Gynecologist. Due to my extreme obsession with the formation of babies and the birthing process, I could sit in my room and watch "A Baby Story" on the TLC channel for hours visually devouring every aspect of life in labor and delivery. From then, I had my whole life planned out (or so I thought): I would attend college then medical school and eventually become one of the top OB/GYN doctor's in my field catering to celebrity patients and their offspring.
As always, fate had it's own plan for my life.

...When it's yours...you just KNOW it's yours... And others will too, without you mustering up a single word...
2014- "I Pray"
I pray for this generation I pray that the young women coming up will realize they are much more than their body parts I pray that people would stop seeking validation through social media I pray that everyone would start to realize no one is in this journey of life alone I pray that people would stop concerning themselves with who has the best selfie and become aware of worldly affairs I pray that people will start to savor the physical moment by stopping to actually "smell the roses" as opposed to doing it for "likes" I pray that people would seek their God given purpose and see that we are all here to fulfill our father who art in heaven's mission I pray that more people would pick up books and broaden their minds I pray I pray I pray that our generation seeks more!
.... "How you gon' win, when you ain't right within?"...
Excerpt From my Post: "Embracing the Unknown After College"
Here's an excerpt for a post written by me for huffingtonpost.com, Inspiration for recent College Graduates trying to find their balance again in the REAL WORLD after graduation.... :
"At some point after the "congratulations... you made it" cards and phone calls subside, you are ultimately left with your thoughts and realize that days of the hustle and bustle registering for classes, logging onto ratemyprofessor.com (to ensure that your professor was actually cool, lenient with the work, and not a power tripping creep), and making sure everything is in good standing with financial aid -- are over. Unless you're continuing straight onto graduate school but that's another story. Anyway, it may seem as though everything you were ever positively sure of is now a little fuzzy, and once again, you're a small fish in a BIG pond, left to find your way in a place you so desperately craved away from the meaningless papers and two-hour lectures, called "The Real World."
