regarding this, i would like to elaborate because the concept behind this was really intriguing to me. basically, me and my friend speculated that since god-tier revival involves regeneration, maybe jake and john would abuse that. theyve already done a ton of stuff involving snuffing, so john would bring up the idea of him being a amputee for jake. i think it takes jake a while to come around to the idea, since he fails to see the appeal. john explains that it would be a display of trust and extreme intimacy, since he would rely completely on jake and trust him to not keep him without his arms or legs by eventually putting him down so he can come back fully regenerated. theyve done enough pain play in the past to the point where agony has john entirely on edge, associating it with extreme pleasure when jake saws his limbs off. at the same time, hes screaming and crying his name and jake has to restrain him so he doesnt squirm too much. he tenderly bandages each open wound, but john obviously still loses a lot of blood. hes lightheaded and exhausted only halfway through it, completely defeated. he passes out. when he wakes up, jake coos his name and holds him close. he gave him so much painkiller that john can only mumble and lean into him. he realizes cant get up off the bed, seeing the bandages on what remains of his limbs makes him start to cry in his haze. jake reaffirms him, he tells him what happened, and john eventually falls asleep in jakes arms once he calms down.
