As much as her boyfriend wanted to assure her that he wasnât worried, he seemed pretty worried in that moment. And come on, rightfully so. This was his little brother and one of his closest friends running around a junkyard for some medallion. âIt is pretty cool that they are out there, doing this. Like, I could never in a million years do something like this,ââ Rosie told Braxton, but Miles and Serena were and that made them tough as hell in her eyes. âI havenât, but Iâm like really worried about her. Like, Arden is one of my favorite people in the entire world, so Iâd hate it if she got hurt because of this. I get why sheâs doing it and honestly, she deserves this so muchâ no offense, but Iâd hate it if she got hurt.â She said with a small pout, before taking a small sip from her glass. âBut no one is going to get hurt, Iâm like putting that out into the universe.â Rosie said, not wanting Braxtonâs mind to wander. âAnd youâll be teasing Miles tomorrow, like nothing happened.â
Braxton actually laughed a little, picturing his girlfriend in such a position clearly making him laugh. Rosie wasnât the most athletic out there, but he knew what drove people to do things like this. Even he had considered doing Panic this time around, but eventually had decided to put in more hours into his job. After all, it was something that was helping pay the bills at home more than ever before. âDonât tell them I said this, but theyâre pretty damn badass.â He admitted playfully, setting his flute down carefully and sleeping an arm around his girlfriend, his eyes moving away from the screen and back to her. Focusing on her wasnât hard at all, anyway. âThatâs not an offense. Iâm rooting for her too. I think multiple people can win this round and I hope sheâs one of them. By the way, if sheâs made it this far, she seems to know what sheâs doing. I think sheâs got this.â He told her reassuringly. Hoping that would really be the case, that everyone would be home safe by the end of the night.Â
