I got body slammed by the art monster last night at 2 am. This took 3 hours to do. It was originally just going to be Elrond, but Elwing snuck up on me and demanded to be drawn too.
Probably my favorite thing Rings of power did was draw this parallel.

I did not start drawing with any idea in mind. I didn’t even know the hair or skin color. I knew nothing, but I am happy with how it turned out. I have never drawn dreads before. I have never done colored portraits before. I haven’t drawn a black person in a few months. This was like getting possessed by some spirit in order to draw him. Cheers. I don’t know why I drew him so close, but what’s done is done.
