Rafayel: Lumerian Sea God

Story 9/10. Battle skills 7/10

Help my fishie is crying and it broke my heart. I knew going into this myth that it was going to hurt but damn at least kiss the brick before you throw it at me. I find Rafayel so fascinating and this myth answer some questions but also gave me a lot more questions. Also I love how this myth tied into the main story *chef kiss* I think I’m a little biased because of the fact that Rafayel’s myths are the only ones I love each one. I love mermaids and they gave it to us without it feeling like fan service.

Very easy battle campanion. I wish now that we have the others that his is more powerful but I’m a simply person. Fighting with a giant fish is entertaining.

Xavier: King of Darknight

Story 9/10. Battle skills 8/10

My baby 🥹 I love this myth, and it’s honestly tied with RAF imo for best 3rd myth. I love how this is a continuation of Lightseeker, and not only that confirmation that Xavier MC are stuck in a time loop. I think I’m a sucker for what if stories and this checks all the boxes. Also I liked how stoic Xavier was in this, he’s personality very intriguing bust makes sense, since in this timeline he’s literally lost everything he loves, and basically punishing himself for his mistakes.

I think is this his best skin, hands down. There’s no comparison to Lumiere and Lightseeker (also note I know there’s a lot wrong with this set when you are in the high levels, but I’m only in the early 100s and have had no problems yet)

Caleb: Netherlord

Story 8/10. Battle skills 8/10

I went into his myth thinking I was going to hate it but I really love it. But first let’s address the elephant in the room; I do not care/have a problem with the whole Gege/Meimei baby sister troupe. I could see it coming from his very first introduction that he was the forbidden love troupe. Anyway Caleb is my least fave LI, he talks to much and he annoys me but damn he is hot and this myth wrapped him up in a pretty bow for me lol. I think the yearning between Caleb and MC was done very well, by the end I was actually sad. I also really loved the whole underworld storyline. And it really played into the whole we aren’t ever going to be together because of fate, but we’ll still try to defy it anyway. Also the whole ghost bridegroom reminded me of TGCF so that’s also probably why I really like it.

This is a slight learning curve to this skin. The whole you actually have to pay attention to the Arden oath cut scene and hit the circles is interesting. I think this skin is way more powerful than X02.

Zayne: God of Annihilation

Story 6/10. Battle 8/10

Zaynie how I love you but I hate this myth. The backshots, tiddies out can’t fully make up for the lack of story. Imma be honest, I don’t really remember much from this myth cause I was bored reading it. I feel like Zayne really got the short end of the stick, and we didn’t really learn anything new about him. It wa style same old, can’t be together because of astra, Zayne figures out they can’t be together and someone dies. I wish that they would have given us just a little more insight to Zayne, like how is he a foreseer and a god? I need a little more connecting points.

Not gonna lie this skin confused me. It took me a while on how to actually battle with this one. The whole having to drain this to unlock that took a while to figure out. But once I did I really like playing him. Tbh I didn’t like his other skins so this was a nice change.

Sylus: Silverwing Fiend

Story 5/10. Battle 7/10

I really wanted to love this Myth, it had everything I love Vampires, Period drama, and fighting as foreplay. But to me, this felt full of fan service. It was like watching a filler episode of anime that is just pure fan service. Don’t get me wrong I love hear Sylus call us his wife, but that paired with people wanting vampire Sylus as well… it felt like the story was more of an after thought. And we really didn’t learn much else about Sylus and MC past. Compared to RAF and Xav being a continuation, I would have expected the same. Also dragon Sylus is top tiered in my opinion, and I wanted to see more of that.

Same goes for his battle play, I think it can be a powerful skin, but I tend to play with Dragon Sylus more often than this one. That being said it is an easy skin to play with and doesn’t require much thought on how to use it and the special moves.

Caleb girlies getting upset with the whole baby sister line is forgetting/not fully understanding MC and Caleb’s troupe. They are the Forbidden love architect. Their whole dynamic is a will they won’t they situation. In 90% of Caleb’s 5 star cards, there’s this underlining tension and line where toeing between whether the other one is willing to cross.

To me when you take this dynamic a way, you kind of ruin Caleb’s whole storyline. Caleb is so obsessed with MC that he is willing to be anything to her as long as he’s in her life. Even if that means playing the role of a brother figure. And in turn we slowly see MC become equally obsessed, and start to realize that she actually has feelings for him that aren’t entirely platonic.

Also, the whole ‘gege/meimei, niichan/neechan” dynamic would translate more closely to the whole “what are you doing stepbrother/ daddy kink” in English. Or if you’ve ever seen Clueless,it is like Cher and her stepbros relationship.

In my personal opinion : this is what makes Caleb interesting. 

Also I do recognize that not everyone grew up watch anime’s/Asian dramas where this is a very common storyline. Read Vampire Knight, and I promise you this won’t seem like a big deal anymore lol.

I just hit the one year mark and it makes me so sad that this game has fallen off story wise.

I was so into this game that I got a bunch of my friends to start playing it at the beginning of the year but like I’m bored now. And it started right around the wedding banner.

Personally I thought it was way too early to have a wedding banner and I still stick by it. Because one) Caleb had just been reintroduced and now we’re getting “married”

two) now the banner will be lopsided if we ever get the last LI

No new story updates, the whole point of the game, and it hasn’t been updated in how many months? And on top of that we are getting half asses banners instead. The whole Idol banner disappointed me so much. The only card that was good was Xavier’s and even then the whole Polar Night mcguaffin sucked. The banner should have been an AU like the Catch-22 banner. Also the minigames sucked ass too. I didn’t even complete them because it was so boring even the story was hard to sit through.

On top of that there’s no way to farm diamonds, everything is maxed out for in trials. The only thing left is the deepspace ones but since I’m at a higher level it’s getting harder to complete them when I don’t have certain cards R3.

As a Raf girlie his solo card looks good, but I’m not pulling on it because I’m trying to wait for sylus third myth, but also because the last couple of banners the cards just weren’t good. Hell Zayne third myth sucked imo compared to Xavier’s and Rafayels.

Now the reason I stopped spending money was because one) I just tired of the endless banners and no real story updates and two) I quit my job so no extra income for me to spend on it.

During this time I realized that the less you spend the more likely you are to get the cards during pulls. For example today with the idol banner, this is a banner I’ve been wanting forever so I allowed myself $50 to spend on said banner. Now normally going into these 5* banners, I have anywhere from 10-30k diamonds saved up. But because of Zayne’s and sylus myth and Xavier’s birthday. I used up all my diamonds and only have 3k and 5 gold tickets (no including the free 10). So far at 80 pulls and $50 spent, I’ve only gotten Xavier’s card. Which is fine since that’s the one I really wanted. I ended up getting him in the first 20, so no money spent.

Normally during these pulls after about 50, I get another 5*. Not this time tho lol. I have 7 pulls left until I hit hard pity.

This is so unusual for me, so let me recap past banners:

Xavier birthday: 60 pulls

Zayne’s 3rd Myth: 120 pulls(I lost to Caleb at 60), 150

Zayne’s bday: 10 pulls

Summer banner: I wasn’t pulling for it but I got Xavier with the free 10

Xavier 3rd myth: 10, 70, (140got Zayne, I was trying to get the crate and r1)

Wedding banner: this is the last multi banner I actively pulled on. I was pulling purely to get 3 outfit crates as well. 10 sylus, 40(Xavier), 100(Rafayel), 110(Caleb and Zayne) 150(sylus)

I can’t go back to see all of my spring banner but I did get all 5 again.

Now it could be Infold just messing around with pull rates or it could just be that they want you to spend more once you already had. I’m only slightly complaining but I realized that I have pretty good luck in the banners, but I wish there was more ways to farm diamonds. I’m pretty high in all the battle orbits so those aren’t viable ways to farm anymore, the unicorns and Tobias missions I have long since received all the rewards. This is leading to me getting super bored with the game. I don’t mind spending money on the game, but when it becomes a money pit with little rewards incentive that’s when I start having a problem with it.

But idk if anyone else has notice this or it’s just Infold messing around like usual.
