European Adders (Vipera berus), gettin freaky up in tha cut, family Viperidae, Helsinki, Finland

w/ some grass snakes (Natrix natrix) doing their thing underneath.

Venomous.

European Adders often form these mating aggregations, after emerging from hibernation, in which multiple males will try to mate with the same (much larger) female.
