Back when the gang was in Horseshoe Overlook, he sent a letter out to the ranch where his parents “died.” Molly helped him write it in Irish. After a few weeks and largely thinking nothing of it, Kieran got a letter back from his father, written entirely in Irish, with a photograph of him, his wife, and two daughters attached. Molly helped him read it, and he found out that not only was his father alive, but he had a family and was inviting Kieran to their ranch in California. Currently, he’s still deciding if he should go, and if he should, how he’ll get there. 

WHAT I’M RETCONNING:

Kieran’s relationship with Blaine. Blaine (as in sundrab) and Kieran have no prior history before Dutch’s gang, but they have a strange relationship within it. They’re simultaneously friends, not friends, and….awkward all at once.

Kieran’s relationship with Arthur/haturl. He never had it, it’s not a thing, F in chat. He’s still noodling around with Mary-Beth.

His heart condition is still undiagnosed. Prior, Arthur/haturl encouraged Kieran to get it looked at by a doctor, and he wouldn’t have done it on his own.

Kieran is now blind in one eye. He was captured by the O’Driscoll boys again and they tortured him for days, which included pouring boiling water on his eyes. He was blind in both eyes for about a month, but he’s just starting to get sight back in one.

WHAT I’M NOT RETCONNING:

Friendships. This isn’t a full reset. I’ll have to have a few conversations so we can properly address a couple of friendships that are contingent on retcons, but for most of you: don’t worry about reintroduction. Same muse. Work under the assumption he’s been absent for awhile because he couldn’t see.
