Valerie looked up at the absolute downpour happening outside the eave of her shop. Ears were pinned back and a glower was given to Brian. âYou arenât covered in fur, Brian.â
Granted, this was the most energetic Valerie had ever seen Brian. An active zombie that wasnât out for flesh was something different. Her arms crossed over her chest, claws digging into her fur. Valerie wasnât a fan of water, sure, but she wasnât afraid of water.
âI like being wet on my terms, champ.â She grumbled, staring upwards and snarling at a bold drop of water to assault her nose.
Looking back at Brian, he seemed entirely thrilled with the weather. It was weird. Not unwelcome, but definitely strange. There was a moment of quiet between them, enough of the rain making any ASMR junkie jealous. An ear flicked, looking at the zombie with a stern stare.
âYou arenât gonna stop until I get out from under here, are ya?â
âYouâre right, but I could get all swollen and bloated nâ stuff, but Iâm still enjoying it.â Brian remarks with a smile on his face, opening his mouth as to catch some drops of water in his mouth (mostly a futile act considering most of it falls off the hole of his cheek.). Brian just loves rainy days, they were always so chill, whether by standing down the rain listening to the drops fall, or just staying in having some chocolate and vibing with some music.
Brian kept annoyingly beckoning the girl to join him, truth to be told, the zombie boy didnât know the cat lady very well, they never spoke much aside from buying stuff from her to raise his chances at scoring. But hey, this could be a chance at bonding and stuff, Brian could use some friends.
âYep.âÂ
