Arriving at the salon she will be greeted by a kindly assistant in a white lab-coat who will offer a cup of tea, usher her through into a private room and invite our protagonist to undress. Naked, or as-good-as under a capacious gown, our lady will be asked to get upon hands and knees on the bench whilst the aforementioned assistant in the lab-coat applies a warm wax about the most delicate area. A short time later the wax, having now cooled sufficiently, receives further attention from the gentle lady in the white lab-coat. She will yank it away briskly, taking hair and follicle with it. Our heroine is likely at this point to offer a blessing to the gods in fairly robust language. Once the whole rigmarole has concluded our lady can dress and return home safe in the knowledge she’ll be back again in 2 to 4 weeks time. Oh the joy.

Well I did say ask me anything, so thank you. I have to say feminine grooming was probably not high on my list of expected questions, but we’ll have a go for you. Whilst there is much to be said for au naturelle, when you’re in a studio or on a set with lighting, exposures and apertures to consider any hair is going to reflect, refract or be highlighted. It’s for this reason pretty much every lingerie model submits to a rigorous waxing regime. It’s hardly an accurate representation of womanhood, but that - alas - is the fashion industry for you.
