Reminder of Life

Some may anchor in unreliable things—their own ambition, unhealthy friends, or negative habits. How much better to anchor in the one whom we know we can trust and depend on. When the waves crash around us, we’ll be held fast. Our soul is anchored in God.

Our good works are a work of God through us. He’s prepared us and will give us the compassion and wisdom we need to reach out to others.

Gracious God, thank You for breathing hope, joy, and new life into my days.

While He may extend mercy, God can’t compromise His justice—which is why He sent His Son Jesus to die in our place as payment for our sin. The Bible shows us whether we’re walking in His way or not. By His grace, God helps those who believe in Jesus to live in a way that pleases Him and brings honor to Him—to do what’s right.

God of comfort, through each trial I face, please help me pass on Your comfort to others.

How exactly does a dragonfly maneuver so incredibly? We have a lot to learn. And yet we can trust that the all-knowing God who designed these creatures is the same one who knows how to bring us from the darkest night into the light and joy of His presence.

Dear Jesus, please empower me to serve others from where You’ve placed me.

Genuine gratitude is more than an occasional word we offer; it’s the posture of our lives. Gratitude turns us to God over and over again, always giving thanks in celebration.

Thank You, dear Father, that You hear my honest prayers and meet me where I am.

God took drastic measures to demonstrate His great love for the world. For you.

God can help us endure any kind of difficulty that stands in the way of serving Him. Physical limitations such as illness, injuries, and disabilities require care and attention, but they can’t ultimately surpass God’s power, which is made perfect in our weakness. Let’s give God the glory when He works through us to do things we cannot do on our own.

Thank You for watching over me today, dear Father. Please help me to walk closely with You.

Whatever spiritual gifts the Holy Spirit entrusts us with, let’s use them to serve others in the church—the body of Christ.

Loving Father, left to myself I would be forever lost. Thank You for the provision of Your Son and His willingness to go to the cross in my place.

As God helps us, our actions can show others the true wisdom that comes from Him too

When we were lost in our sins and captive to them, He chose to rescue us at great cost. On this day and all days, freedom is precious. Let’s celebrate the Good Shepherd, who has set us free!

Let’s walk by faith day by day and one step at a time. As we continue to hope in the one true God, He will help us walk, run, and soar for His glory.
