Toys Alliance - Annex 2179 - Cortex Commander

About a month ago I had picked up the Cortex Flame Trooper and the Infantry, but I just recently picked up the Cortex Commander. Honestly, I had no plans to get the commander, but after really enjoying the trooper figures, I decided I would probably like the commander figure as well and he's really great like I expected.

In case you didn't know, the "Annex 2179" by Toys Alliance is another figure line like the Acid Rain World line. You can easily mix and match the two figure lines together and they go great together! The Annex line is of course a futuristic line with some wild figures that are extremely cool. I love and collect both lines now. The Acid Rain World line and the Annex 2179.

The Cortex troopers are like cyborgs with a human brain. I honestly do not know the backstory on these yet. It's just what it appears to me to be, cyborgs. Also, these figures are a collaboration figure set with the toy company called Super 7 who have these Cortex Troopers with their own styling, while this is an Acid Rain style of Cortex Troopers. I don't personally collect Super 7 figures, but I know many do like that company too.

Mail call! This is one of my TVC preorders that came in today from Amazon. I've been waiting for this figure for quite some time, ordered it a few months ago.

Probably one of my last TVC Star Wars figures I plan to collect sadly. I have a very LARGE collection of both TVC and TBS figures. Along with Star Wars Mafex and SHFiguarts related figures in the 12 scale. I've decided after years of collecting, I'm satisfied with what I have and I would probably only buy a NEW TVC figure if it's something I REALLY lack in my collection it's something I really want bad.

For now, I'm collecting mainly very high end figures at 3.75 scale and that would be mainly Toys Alliance Acid Rain World and the Annex 2179 figures. Once you've purchased of few of these figures, you will be hooked more than likely. Very high end and high quality.

Toys Alliance - Acid Rain World - FAV-A95 EOS Destroyer Set - Part 2.

The other day I reviewed the other figure in the set and now this is the review for the only figure that includes a human head sculpt. It would have been nice had they also included a second human female sculpt for that figure too.

The two figures and I believe I mentioned it before, the legs can be swapped out or removed from the thigh swivel area on both figures for additional customs. I did pop off one leg and it was very hard getting the leg back on however. It can be done, but it's not easy to remove or put back into place.

This figure does include basically the same weapons as the other figure. 1, TG-12 Rocket Launcher, 1 NGP-73 Anti-material rifle, 1 Porcupine shotgun, 1 AP2 pistol. The other figure has 2, AP2 pistols.

This figure includes a helmet sculpt with the number "7" on the top and the other figure has "2" labeled on top of the helmet. This figure also includes a half face gas mask that can be placed on her head and it slips underneath her hair and is held by basically friction.

This would be figure number 1 of 2. Probably tomorrow I will do the review and pictures of the second figure in this cool set.

Each figure includes basically the same amount of weapons and gear. For this figure in my last picture you can see all the gear for this female figure. She includes 2 side arm guns, RPG, Sniper rifle and shotgun. The RPG or bazooka rocket can be removed as well.

She has two holsters, but the set includes a optional pouch and you can pull off the figures legs and swap them out with the other female figure if you want and place the pouch in place of one of the holsters if you want. Options!

The shot gun weapon has a foldup or fold out assault style handle that allows her to hold the weapon with both hands instead of just one.

The sniper rifle includes a fold down bi-pod as well for sniper shooting. I like the rifle and it is oversized. Didn't care for the oversized rifle at first, but now I like it and it's grown on me.

Custom Portable/Stackable Blast Shields

Made these three custom portable and stackable blast shields that can be carried and placed however you want. You could stack them in a way like you see to allow and protect two people to shoot from at the same time or you could line them up level to allow up to 3 figures.

The blast shields were shaded in an Acid Rain World style of heavy shading or weathering. Actually, I have two different styles of weathering I've started using in my custom builds that can blend together and look nice.

Anyway, I don't sell anything I make and just like to build and if inspire you to create and build then that's great! It's my little hobby I enjoy and I'm slowly but surely building my own little world for fun.

Toys Alliance - Acid Rain World - "Ratko" - FAV-A82

Well, this is figure I've been trying to obtain for a while now and finally found him on the secondary market located in Taiwan. It took about 1 week and 6 days for him to arrive in the states.

"Ratko" as he's called and I am still learning about the Acid Rain World characters and you can find the back stories on the world at: https://acidrainworld.com which I only recently discovered but haven't had a chance to read yet. This character, in my book is a cyborg with half his body robotic and the other half human.

He includes a side arm that fits excellent in the holster and a large curved knife and I forgot the name of this type of blade but it also fits well into a sheath. He also includes a rifle that can be pegged to his back. His cowboy hat can be removed and it's pegged into his head and doesn't fall out. He also includes some hair that can be pegged to his head to hide the peg hole. I didn't take pictures of that extra accessory, but it's included if you choose to use it.

I'm a big fan of Cad Bane from Star Wars and Clone Wars and he's a alien space cowboy basically. It seems if any character or action figure is released that is a Space Pirate or Space Cowboy they become very popular and appealing. This would be the same case for Ratko it seems. Very popular and very fun figure with excellent articulation that I forgot to mention.

Acid Rain World - By Toys Alliance - "Ratko"

Now, I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I haven't posted much about Star Wars and more about Acid Rain World figures. I just recently started collecting these Acid Rain World figures and well I'm really hooked on the details, articulation, paint and weathering. Hasbro Toys just cannot match these figures and well, these figures at 3.75 inches in height compared to The Vintage Collection Star Wars series by Hasbro just cannot compare. Hasbro cannot at the lower prices they charge compare to this line of figures by Toys Alliance. I guess you could say I'm just amazed by them now and it's generally what I'm more into collecting now.

"Ratko" as he's called reminds me of Cad Bane; the bounty hunter, space cowboy from Clone Wars. However, Ratko is part cyborg or robotic on one side of his body. A very popular type character in the sci-fi world it seems. Anything like a space cowboy or space pirate and you have a really popular character it seems.

Neca Predator 1:12 scale

I do enjoy the different scales of the Predator. This being a NECA brand version at 1:12 scale. 1:18 scales of different Predators do exist as well.

Acid Rain World - "Beset" - By: Toys Alliance

Well, this would probably be my first review of a figure. Big fan of Acid Rain World figures and this robotic looking creature is called a, "Camelbot". Toys Alliance has produced many different versions of the camelbot and I missed most of them. I only own two so far and the other one I own is called, "Ash Camelbot" which is another great figure!

The details and articulation on this robotic figure is very AMAZING. The backpack does open from the top and can be totally removed. He only includes his rifle as a weapon. The figure also includes some soft goods you can see around his waist as well.

Acid Rain World figures are NOT TOYS and also come at adult prices. This figure is now hard to find and you would have a better chance of finding him on the secondary market like Ebay. Sometimes I do buy these figures out of Taiwan from a good seller who sells at retail brand new. Usually takes about 1 week and 6 days to reach the States.
