Am Bored. Am Thing.

Nazism is not someone telling you to stop playing pretend on tumblr.

My family was murdered, my history stolen from me, I live in a nation that two generations ago my family had no connections to because my paternal grandmother was shipped out of her home to a different continent to escape Nazi rule.

People are being kidnapped from their homes, jobs, schools. People are being murdered by the state. There’s mass graves outside of “detention centres”. People close to me have had their family members forcibly disappeared.

Babies are being bombed, families are being slaughtered in open air concentration camps. People are being starved, kidnapped, tortured on a systemic level.

The amount of privilege you must have to say that people calling out your ableism are Nazis while this is what’s happening around you? What the fuck is wrong with you, genuinely, how do you place being told to fuck off on tumblr at that same level? You’re a terrible person if you believe this, an actual fucking monster. Theres a reason why the globe calls you the great Satan, you have no perspective outside of your own.

For example:

“I disagree with you” → “I disagree with you, but I’m not angry at you.”

“I’m hurt” → “I’m hurt, but I don’t think you’re a bad person. I want to talk it through.”

“I’m frustrated” → “I’m frustrated, but it doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.”

“I’m angry” → “I’m angry but I still love you”.

To you, the love and care underneath might feel obvious. To someone who’s been trained to flinch at every sign of conflict, it might not be. Those extra words of reassurance don’t erase your frustration or your boundaries. They just remind us the relationship is safe even in hard moments.
