I think the funniest thing Toby Fox could do is not have Papyrus show up in Deltarune at all and then in the post credits after you you beat the game you'd see a message appear that says "you can now play with Papyrus" and then he'd be retroactively inserted into every single chapter like some kind of new game+

Just reread Fugitive Telemetry and upon a reread I think Murderbot is a tiny bit misinterpreting Senior Officer Indah's behavior towards it. Murderbot thinks it's because it's a SecUnit, which is obviously not wrong, but I think there's another facet of this which isn't on Murderbot's radar: once Indah starts thinking of it as a person, she's probably thinking of it as This Arrogant Asshole From the Corporation Rim who thinks Preservation Security are a bunch of incompetent hippies, tells them how to do their jobs and keeps complaining about them not having the dystopian levels of mass surveillance that it's come to expect from working in the CR, and is upset that they said no to giving it access to a bunch of data that violates privacy laws.

I can see how, from the perspective of a cop who has grown up in Preservation culture, this must be incredibly annoying, and means even setting aside any prejudices over a SecUnit being a deadly weapon, it kind of comes across to Indah as someone who she can't trust to follow basic standards of professional ethics if it thinks it knows better.

And Murderbot doesn't really consider this as a possibility because it's not used to being seen as a person at all, let alone seen as one by the Corporation Rim, so the idea that someone else would see it as a Corporate Person just never crosses its mind.

(that is, Naming practices amongst transgender people- how why what when where and whom. The choosing of Names is a dazzlingly beautiful social science I am very into)

In fact let's go for it:

Lily: the English word name for a type of flower- Floral Names have long been associated with femininity in Anglophone cultures.

Collecting data on transgender chosen names would be very exciting and possibly challenging due to how onomastic records have been usually from religious or secular recordings often done at birth, census keeping, or in legal proceedings. Whereas for various reasons in various places and legal systems, trans people may not indicate why they are making those records, changing those records, or they may not ever make it a matter of public legal, secular, or religious record.

I'd love to hear from anyone actually studying this how they go about it, as I am a hobbyist and amateur enthusiast.

Sometimes I end up watching videos about indie author drama (I don't know why) and a quarter of them are "indie author reads mean review of their book and publicly and embarrassingly crashes out, sometimes with a side order of stalking or harrassment" and I'm always like. Why are you even reading the reviews. Like what did you expect to accomplish here. If you're looking for tips on how to improve your work, that step comes BEFORE publication. Your role in this is over, those aren't for you. What can you possibly expect to gain by reading them, and if you do, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU RESPOND.

Nothing that ever happens in indie author drama is ever remotely relatable to me. I always go in like "oh, these are my peers, we have the same career, I will understand this" and it's always somebody making absolutely off the wall decisions that make no fucking sense to me. My reaction to everything that happens is "why would someone do that".
