it’s so crazy to me how some of you are genuinely so heartless like lol how do you see a hate crime and then go on to fucking defend some youtuber do you even think about extending that kind of empathy and compassion to the victims/their families. what is wrong with you?

Because pewdiepie has been accused of alt right white supremacy propaganda for years and now a blood thristy nazi mass murderer muttered his name dragging him into it and potentially making the media go crazy over it again. His fans are protecting him from further rumors and media attacks since it’s been a tough battle for him. It’s not that they are heartless, they look up to pewdiepie and enjoy his content, they’re his fans they’re looking out for him. They don’t want to see him dragged down again. It’s not that hard to understand. Pewdiepie isn’t a white supremacist. Or alt right. He pokes fun at it because it’s become a meme in his fan base but he for sure is not a nazi and definitely not a fan of this disgusting mass murderer.
