Boom Landing

“Geez. Sounds like your Eggman is more sneaky than most of the others I’ve met.” He said. He didn’t notice when he started to walk closer to Sonic. “Though I’m sure he is capable of some sort of kindness.” Silver could feel some sort of urge rising inside him. He would often catch himself glancing down at Sonic’s hand, almost as though he wanted to hold it. But the ivory hedgehog didn’t want to go for it for fear of Sonic rejecting him or asking what he was doing. He didn’t want to ruin such a new friendship so soon.

“That’s quite different than how other Eggmans are.” Silver said. He blushed lightly as he decided to make the first move, gently grabbing a hold of Sonic’s hand. His blush became a little darker. Despite this being a totally different Sonic, he was still so similar to him. Silver had a slight crush on his Sonic so he sorta had a crush for this Sonic too.

Shadow was out showering in the rain. Since this was the only time he washed himself he still had the gunk on him from the encounter with Silver a couple days ago. He walked around in the rain scrubbing himself when he noticed another hog out hiding under a leaf Shadow walks over and lifts up the leaf and see a femiller face. “Well well well look who i ran into it’s the Beta. How you been little guy? Still sore from the last time you came into my territory? You’ll never guess where you are now.” Shadow said the last part extra smugly. 

Silver had heard him approaching but initially thought it was just a wild animal or something. Only when the leaf was lifted and that all too familiar voice rung into his ears did he recoil and lean back, not caring if he ended up in the mud. He looked up at Shadow in fear. His tail curled submissively between his legs. “I didn’t know your territory reached out this far. I-I’m sorry.” He said, pure fear in his voice. “Please don’t hurt me...”

Light meets Dark

As the tear splashed Shadows face he felt something stirring in him. Some times after he’s done with his business and the adrenaline wheres off he feels the urge to comfort his pry. He felt such an urge right now. Luckily the other hog got the fuck away from him and stopped trying to mess with his feelings. He returned to his cave and took a nap. Shadow had no trouble sleeping at night after putting betas in there place it’s what the deserve after all. He did thought wish he had someone to cuddle after. But he pushed that thought out of his head. 

A few days later, during a rain shower, Silver had curled under a large leaf to lessen how wet he got from the rain. Though the leaf wasn’t all that great at blocking the rain. He had gotten got in the rain while he had gone out looking for his teleporter again. He hugged his legs to his chest as he waited for the storm to pass, his mind lingering to his encounter with Shadow a few days prior. He trembled at the memories. He hated that he ended up enjoying it. He hated that he kinda wanted more. He closed his eyes and buried his face in his knees. He had time to burn, he figured it’d be best to try to nap to make his thoughts go away.

“Hm?” Silver looked up when Sonic spoke. “Oh yeah. I’m fine. I just wasn’t wearing waterproof eyeliner. I’m also looking for a device I dropped when I arrived here. I have no clue where it could be and it’s the only thing keeping me from being able to go back.” He explained as he walked back to Sonic’s hut to hopefully find something to clean up the running make up from his cheeks, as well as to put his boots and gloves back on.

Silver happily accepted the napkins and started to clean up his running eye liner. “Thank you, Sonic.” Once he was cleaned up and dressed, Silver brushed back his quills to try and push as much water as possible out of them. “Ugh. The downside to swimming, it’s makes a mess of your quills and fur.” He commented with a giggle. He then looked at Sonic and smiled warmly. “I’m as ready as I’m gonna get for our tour.”

Silver giggled when he heard that the super genius fox couldn’t assemble a simple book shelf. “Really? A book shelf? How long’d it take?” He asked. “I do appreciate the sentiment but unless Tails has made a universal time shifter before, he probably can’t help all that much.”

“ yeah actually none of us could figure it out…. we had a lot of stuff to work with and well we made a lot more than a book shelf that day… Well he might of made something like that he has been working on a lot of stuff lately though we could also go to Egg man, he isn’t so bad after villain hours.”

“Heh. If you still have it or still want a book shelf, I could help assemble it for you.” He offered, no longer looking around at the surroundings, his full focus was on Sonic. “And I’ve almost never heard of Sonic and Eggman not being arch enemies. most other worlds I’ve been to usually have you being the hero and Eggman is always the villain. Now I’m curious about your Eggman.”
