Harry gave an officious little nod and stood. “It’s decided then.”

Ron frowned. “We weren’t talking about anything, mate.”

“I’m going to do it.” Harry nodded again.

“Do what?” Hermione looked up from her book—honestly, who brought a book to pub night?

“I’m going to go talk to Malfoy. Draco.”

Ron spat out his beer. Hermione’s eyebrows shot up. “Are you sure that’s a good idea? Last time—”

“Last time was different,” Harry said. “I’m trying again. I don’t care if I’m bollocks at it.”

“It’s healthy to do things you’re not very good at sometimes,” Luna said as Ginny slid into the booth. “What are you trying?”

“He’s going to talk to Malfoy,” Ron said.

Luna frowned. “Oh, Harry, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“But you just said!”

“Well, you see, Mercury’s in retrograde right now, which makes communication difficult,” Luna said, eyes wide. “Disagreements are more likely, misunderstandings—well, you and Draco are already rather prone to those, aren’t you.”

“I don’t care how retro Mercury is,” Harry snapped, tossing back his pint. “I’m going to talk to him.”

**Three minutes later**

“Well,” Hermione said.

“That’s certainly not what I would call ‘talking’,” Ginny said with a grin.

Ron looked ill. “I can’t believe this is happening again,” he said, turning away from the sight of Harry’s hands trailing lower down Draco’s body. Draco’s hands were in Harry’s hair, unyielding, insistent.

he had fries or something while he was out at a bar with the team and didn't think about it because he didn't order them and was just absentmindedly grazing from the plate that got shared, but he goes home to shane, kiss kiss, starting to strip, and then shane just *increasingly frequent pauses to try and clear his throat* *realization about what's happening*

Hudson talking about the CSAs: "That was really special to have my family there, to be able to kind of look back and see my parents... and my heated rivalry family, seeing Connor. It was really cute.”

I was tagged by @chococara25 and @sierranovembr. I'm mostly working on my super secret BT Bang, but this idea gripped me by the throat and compelled me.

Inspired by this post: S1Buck is secretly married to firechief Tommy... I've taken some liberties with the idea.

"Is everything okay at home, Buck?" Bobby's voice comes from the door of the lockers. It's gentle, with an edge of concern.

Buck wracks his brain, trying to think of anything that might give Captain Nash that impression. He hasn't been late, hasn't been reprimanded on a call. He's been completing his assigned tasks around the station with minor supervision. Nothing that would warrant any worry.

Pulling a clean shirt over his head, Buck feels the satisfying reminder of the bruise along his side and ducks his head to hide the smile it brings to his face.

Once his shirt is one and his features are under control, he turns to face Bobby, spine straight, ready for feedback. "All good. Are there any issues here? Did I miss something?"

Bobby studies him, and Buck tries not to shift under the scrutiny. Bobby's mouth forms a straight line, and his eyes look Buck up and down again "You're doing a great job here, kid. You've got a good head on your shoulders, and the making of a good firefighter. I just don't want to see anything pulling you away from that. You know you can come to me if you need anything."

The offer is strange, but appreciated. Buck has spent a long time without anyone in his corner. It's nice to know his captain is looking out for him. He's about to say something dismissive when his phone starts ringing in his locker.

His face falls, because the only reason for Tommy to call him this early is to cancel plans. Biting his lip to stifle the disappointment, Buck breathes in through his nose before taking the call with a subdued "Hey."

He turns away from Bobby to take the call, and misses the complicated expression on Bobby’s face, and the way his brow furrows in worry.
