Now that the chaos has mostly simmered down, I feel like I can make this post in peace and talk about how the overall reaction to Leon's ring is a great example of one of the biggest issues with fandoms today. Instead of celebrating a 'what if', instead of getting giddy about its meaning and what it says about a character, the loudest reaction online (vastly on X and TikTok) has been one of competition and hate - the whole 'end game' concept at its worse.
Fandoms these days focus so much on what's canon and on winning, instead of enjoying something and spinning it around in ways that bring them joy. The ship wars have been so bad in this instance that the devs had to go and spell out the intent and what they wanted to convey through that ring. What happened to writing essays about Leon finally settling down and finding a place he can call home, or a place where the horrors don't follow? What happened to taking just the bits that make you happy from a canon universe and building on them, creating scenarios, talking about meta? The fact that the devs didn't say anything about who he is married to should have been a blessing for everyone, not an apple of discord. Instead of locking things in a canon that not everyone would vibe with, fans can make their own scenarios, regardless of the ship, with only one thing in common - Leon is happy. Who is he sharing that happiness with? Well, that's the fun part - you get to make it up and build on it! I strongly believe that revealing more than the fact that he is married, and making it canon, would be an awful, boxing choice and, in spite of what they said they'd eventually do, I hope they never reveal it. The end game ship is never the point. The fact that your blorbo has found happiness in canon is what matters. The details, the interpretations, the roads taken to get there? They're up to you. Fandoms should never be about being right or winning. It's not supposed to be a competition. It's meant to be a community. It should be about sharing your love for a character, a story, a ship with other people that feel the same. Start making your own fun and stop seeking validation from the creators.
Controversially, I don't think Capcom should reveal who Leon's married to. It would be best if everyone had their own headcanon. People on the internet are already fighting over whether it's Ada or Claire like their lives depend on it and if we get official confirmation that it's one of them, things are going to get worse. Like...chill, it's not that important.
I took one look at Leon Kennedy in RE:Requiem and decided I have to play at least all the RE games where he is the protagonist.
So far I passed RE2 remake and RE3 remake.
Also, shout out to Carlos Oliveira, he is currently my 2nd favourite RE character š
Did I get a one month Quinn subscription just because of Jamie Campbell Bower? Yes.
And it is soooo worth it.
10/10 would recommend :D

ANYONE PLEASE HELP
I am trying to move my tumblr account to a different e-mail address.
Let me clarify: I made this account using an old e-mail address I'd made back in high school and I am no longer using it for anything other than tumblr. I would like to delete that e-mail address and switch my tumblr account to the one I am currently using.
Here is how it goes: I go to my account settings and then I should be able to edit the e-mail address by entering it and then entering my tumblr password to verify that change but it didn't work!
I then changed the password of the e-mail address I am using for tumblr thinking that maybe somehow that will help. It didn't.
Does anyone know what to do? Help, please!
Well, today was an amazing day :)
GUYS BLOOMSBURY PUBLISHING CANCELLED MY ORDER. DID THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE? HELP
SAME !!
I just saw that on the website in the delivery modalities... But why cancel ?!
I sent an email. Let's hope they will reply...
They responded that this is the problem to deliver to UE that led them to cancel because they have no visibility to when they would be able to do it... They said we can try to get the book from another retailler like Amazon or Waterstones
Yeah, I ordered it from Waterstones today. Let's hope that'll go well š¤

What are some merch shops that sell good quality ST merch - meaning that the fabric is not shit - that are EU-based (don't want to order from USA or Australia and then pay 3Ć more because of shipping)?
The last ST merch I got was a t-shirt from their official website and the quality was ok but not the best, and what was hella sketchy to me is that on the tag it says the t-shirt mustn't be ironed (what the fuck kind of t-shirt mustn't be ironed????)

I was in choir in middle school and once went to Regionals and got all 1's, but wasn't able to continue in choir while my voice changed due to ageing and I hate it now lol
Due to shows like The Power Rangers when I was a kid, and certain issues in my childhood, I developed a lifelong love of martial arts and have studied a few different styles, I'm only okay on my best day though.
I am not nearly as country as I look lol. I was raised in Texas and due to that and work requirements, wear baseball caps and flannels, but am far more alternative/metal than people would usually take me for.
No pressure! But do it! But no pressure! lol (you don't have to do it lol)

Okay, this was surprisingly hardānot because I donāt have random facts, but because my ADHD refuses to let me pick just three. But after some ruthless internal debating, here we go:
1. Iāve climbed the tallest mountain in the UKāBen Nevis. It stands at 1,345 meters (4,413 feet), and yes, it was very worth it. It also happened to be the hottest day of the year, and I forgot sun cream, so I ended up looking like a giant squashie for a solid three weeks.
2. I had a music scholarship in secondary school and played the violin for six yearsāI performed in a few orchestras and competitions, and while I donāt play anymore, I still find myself instinctively humming the violin parts whenever classical music comes on. Itās a habit I never quite shook.
3. I took a gap year and travelled the worldāI lived and worked in the Western Alps, Paris, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia. It was one of the most rewarding (and challenging) things Iāve ever done. I learned how to snowboard and how to navigate foreign grocery stores with absolutely zero shared language.
So many awesome people have already been tagged that I honestly have no idea whoās in or out at this pointāso hereās what Iām doing: tagging the last 12 folks who posted in my community. Your mission? Share your 3 most amazing, unexpected, or downright quirky facts with us.
Iām nominating @wratyl, @sheliesinghostarms, @brotherorpheus, @sylviamione9, @ha-hanabi, @ashesinverses, @willadoptlostchildren, @astrolyz, @rain-rainynights, @abattoirsmile, @onearth-inhead, @quietchaoswords, and @sinkintoink. However, if you come across this prompt and feel inspired, please jump ināeveryoneās welcome to join! š
Thank you @versesbyaaliyah for tagging me!
I like collecting tarot and oracle card sets. I am far from adept at actually reading and interpreting the cards correctly, but I find them fun and I like seeing the different themes the oracle sets go for!
To continue the music trend, when I was in middle and high school, I singed in choir. I performed in a few festivals and competitions. I was not able to continue when I went to college. However, I still love singing and, if there were enough hours in the day, I would like to make my own music.
My grandma, before I was born, basically asked my mom to not have me be a scorpio. Lucky for her, I was born a libra (even if I have some scorpio in me sorry grandma)
And for my victims who I'll be tagging: @echo-temporis, @reeces--pieces, @lunaleah, @i-am-the-writer, @sometimesilaugh, @goneahead, @moltenglory, @cassiopeia-rising, @sollyset, @monet-poetry
The seems fun! Thanks @rain-rainynights for the tag
1. Iām not emotive but I love dramatic filmsāparticularly Bollywood movies
2. I can read about astrology all day but Iām scared to ever actually get my palm read or something
3. Iām almost played the flute in fifth grade. Still hopeful Iāll find the time one day to learn š
@riseaboveallsposts @estranged-sky @echo-temporis @subjectanomalies @reallysmalls @catteam @ashesinverses @moltenglory @wrentalks @fledglingflys
Thanks for the tag @sometimesilaugh ! Tbh idk what to tell u, but here we go...
1. I have an intense separation anxiety if i got separated from the group that i go on a walk with due to me have ever got stupidly lost and almost got left alone in another country during one vacation when i was little š. This was also a turning point for me to learn to speak English too.
2. I was a church's worship leader for a while, i like the singing part but not the crowd.
3. I really like special effects make up and is fascinated with how old movie prosthetics are made. But i never try to make one š. But i have ever (almost) made a thriller with my friends
That's few things about me!
Hbu? @three--thirty--am @abillowingwind @monet-poetry @ashesinverses
Hello to you, @subjectanomalies, @rain-rainynights, @knight-qoheleth, @echo-temporis!
Please forgive me if I respond a bit late, as right now I am going through the process of taking exams and completing various thesis papers. Also, I apologize for combining two threads with similar questions into one, since I donāt have anything new to add off the top of my head to the list of amusing facts. I also want to thank you for your attentiveness toward me and express warm feelings of gratitude that are hard to put into words ā just like so much else we experience within ourselves in relation to others. Feelings has an inexhaustible variety of forms and is a wonder for the mind. So, letās move on to the amusing facts!
When I was a child, my governess secretly dressed me in girls' clothes. You know, those funny straw hats with blue ribbons and sailor outfits. While walking around, she would tell me I was a "beautiful little girl," even though I was a boy. Eventually, this secret came out, and Mr. Pederastov vanished from the horizon of my sunny childhood.
I once had a red canary that sang like a nightingale. We even held small concerts, where I accompanied her on the recorder. Poor thing died of old age, but I still visit her little makeshift grave at the roots of an old maple tree, made of stones and moss.
Once, I traveled to another city to find an article containing a story by an obscure poet, preserved in a single copy in an old century-old journal, to get a sense of the spirit of the people of that time. Later, I transcribed it in two versions: pre-revolutionary Russian and modern Russian.
I also want to mention @odditywrites123, @quitegaze, and especially @philology-gworl, who also founded a poetry community called @poetry-in-russian, which I can recommend to you. When it comes to poetry, it is filled with lightness, softness, a "Malynovym" color, and, of course, sadness. And even if the community is dedicated to Russian-language poetry, I highly recommend you take a look at her worksābelieve me, you won't regret the time spent learning Russian just to read her poems.
I also deeply appreciate @inky-sun for her, on the contrary, dark-colored poetry, her entwining shadows, her attempt to understand time and the meaning of emotions, and I eagerly await her new works. Her poetry is a dark and beautiful gift. I donāt know whether I am fully worthy of touching such delicate themes, but I have boundless faith in her talent.
@subjectanomalies, you are, as always, wonderful. I know that in this paragraph only those who are given the word are being mentioned, but I simply cannot overlook you because you are also one of my favorite poets. I reread your workāand that alone says a lot. "Trying so hard / To keep my heart / From drying in the blaze"⦠Words are directed toward the emotions of those who hear them, but the mind turns away. Thank you for your art!
Thank you for tagging me @monet-poetry š„ŗ and also thank you for your kind words š
Didnāt really know what to say but here it is:
1. I just finished my studies and have now a master degree in Tax Law with a little specialization in finances but not much haha, it was only some classes I took as optionsā¦
2. Iām currently trying to write my first book⦠which is so hard, iām struggling all the time to keep the story entertaining.
3. Scary story? When I was 5 or 6, the day before Halloween (which i adore), I was in my bed (and Iāve always slept with the door closed) and an old lady was in my room, staring at me. She was hovering over me and talked but i donāt really remember everything she said, just that she will be back one day. She left through the wall with the window. Fun fact is, I clearly know it wasnāt a dream because I remember it too well, so either was real or it was a sleep paralysis?? My mom never wanted me to talk about it again after that day lmao
So here it is.

Fucking hell you all have really interesting things to say. Mine are:
1) When I was really small, a few years old, my family were at a beach in a tourist camp. My brother and my cousin went home earlier and I followed them. The other didn't notice I was gone right away, but when they did it was pure panic. My mom says they checked under a bridge to see if I drowned. Luckily she found me at the exit of the camp.
2) I was born three months early and had I been a boy, I would've been stillborn. Even being born female, my chances weren't all that great. The doctors told my mom I would probably die. I didn't :) yay
3) My siblings and I had a cat when we were kids. It got ran over by a car :(
Apologies for any grammatical mistakes.
Tagging (hope that's okay :/ )

Sooo if I remember correctly, in the comics when Dream comes to kill Orpheus, Orpheus says that Calliope had also visited him. But that's not mentioned in the show. And I remembered how in the first season, she asked Dream if they can talk one day and grieve Orpheus properly. And I wonder if they changed things and if Calliope doesn't know that technically Orpheus was still alive.... Thoughts?
For fuck's sake, when will people learn not to name drop the members in the main tag? What the fuck
In Look to Windward, around 2:55 mark, there is another line being repeated during the whole "Will you halt this eclipse in me" section. Like you can hear it in the back, but I cannot figure out what exactly he is saying. The most I get is "Say you....."
Does anyone have the answer to what the line is?

Hi,
It is a graphic novel published by Sumerian comics somewhere in October (?) last year. There was a limited amount of graphic novels for order but according to Sumerian comics' webpage a restock may be happening soon. There is also a digital version available.
