Proper fries are not butchered in disrespect. Proper fries are not the result of a dislike of potatoes, but instead a differentiation. If you are eating fries, but are still willing to eat another kind of food derived from potatoes, then all is good.

Can you eat sausage? When you come of age (if not already) can you drink beer? Can you make a food look a bit like a potato? Can you keep a statue of Doitsu in your house at all times to appease him? I'm running out of ideas.

Is it wrong of me to not like potatoes? I like chips and fries, but I just don't really like the normal potatoes. I still have a certain type for potatoes as food, but what should I do?
