Missing person in fiction
Try as I might this fantasy book continues to lean towards a bit of mystery (really fun) but now the main POV has gone missing.
I have no idea on how to help the second main POV to find her, as the last character that knows where she went is lying to cover up his part in sending her off on a mission to grab a plot keystone artifact but failed to disclose that an eldrich abomination resides in the...
Anyway, he's afraid of getting into trouble. How to make this smart-alecky prideful; character spill it? Ideas? Book recommendations? I just ate read a couple lots of mysteries, but it's often about a dead body so that's not helpful, as she's alive just missing.
