Something insane to me is the amount of people who are saying that CCs are "weird" or "toxic" for setting boundaries with fandoms that are literally formed around THEM?
I support shipping and don't think there's anything wrong with that, but if someone says:
"Hey chat, I don't like when you ship me/my personas with other ppl cus im dating someone and dont want depictions of ME with other ppl"
Why in the world would your response be:
"Well WE'RE the ppl that made YOU famous so im allowed to do whatever i want, fuck you!"
What is actually wrong with you people. You can ship CCs or Cs all you want TO YOURSELF or PRIVATLY, but the amount of the community who shipps CCs and Cs and want them to interact with the shipping dispite how they feel about it is abysmal.
And to compare a MINECRAFT YOUTUBER to literally ACTORS is insane, they are not actors they're youtubers, they did not sign up for ppl to imagine their RP characters having sex.
Their "acting" when playing with their friends is NEVER equivalent to Hollywood actors on stage and you cannot expect to be the same.
If it is too hard for you to grasp the concept that these ppl are not professional actors pretending to be in a relationship with their co-stars than YOU need help and YOU'RE weird NOT THEM.
Have you people ever been outside and interacted with real live ppl?
Imagine these ppl were your friends irl and they were pretending to be with each other romantically in a game, and you wrote a 21k word fiction about them shagging. If they said 'thats weird stop' would you say :
"We're the fandom and we have control over your characters because you put yourself out there so who cares what you think about depiction of you!"
Ppl are not weird, toxic, or needs to stop being supported because they aren't comfortable with. Certain things.
