I’ve been fortunate enough to have a rich extension to my formal knowledge providing deep insight and truths to the suffering of Indigenous people. I’ve had both Native and non-Native American professors. The truth is upsetting, but it is imperative to know it.

So, he’s bombing Iran now. That was a strong campaign stance he had; anti-war, no wars, ending wars on day 1. Don’t comment on this if you’re going to be rude. There is no way to make this pretty.

Job Corps and Americorps just abruptly ended with no warning. Des was just really starting to learn some cool stuff here with Larry Chef Keck and she was in a dorm, meals provided, they were going to help her get her driver’s license, culinary certifications, professional skills and so much more. I have tears in my eyes. 60 years just ended like it was nothing at all. There is nothing else like Job Corps. I’m an alum as well. This is damaging, incredibly devastating and just not right. 💔

Very upsetting news. Trump wants to DEFUND Job Corps starting in 2026. My kid is currently in Job Corps learning a trade. If you condone this, then shame on you. There is nothing else like this program. She is taking culinary arts and advanced culinary arts and there will be nothing if Job Corps gets shut down next year. This is extremely distressing, alarming and upsetting.
