SIMSLORE: A Sims 4 Save File Website

Recently, I've been working on a website. It's called SIMSLORE. Basically, it's a Sims 4 online planner that'll help Simmers to organize their ideas and plans related to their save files/Sims stories. It's local (your info is stored on your device; sign in is optional). Features include:

Hey everyone!

As I mentioned in my earlier post when I published the latest set, there were some items I couldn't finish and include in that one. So I decided I'd release the windows and doors and work more in the other things and upload it a week-2 weeks later.

These items are meant to go in front of your shops. The main goal was to achieve a cozy, "Iwannaseethoseoldbooksandsitdownandreadalittle" feeling. I hope I could bring this feeling to life with this set.

The other important thing was to make as many signs as I could. I have to be honest, this task was creatively draining for me because I had to come up with different "logos" (which I've always hated to make") and different kind of flyers, signs so they would be useable for more than just a book store. Most of the design elements I used are from Freepik, but I modified, recolored, redesigned most of them. None of these were made using AI.

The signs come in 2 sizes, each design have 2 versions for these sizes. Sometimes it's the same as the bigger, sometimes I used different text but they always go together. They will snap onto the sign panels from the previous set. I tried to make a big variety of them for different type of lots, and I tried to make designs with only text (these usually come in black and white options).

The shop flyers as I called them (but now I realized poster would fit better, but I can't change it now because I have to go) can be used alone and put on the wall, on the windows or as I intented: they can be slotted onto the empty sign board. I made a bunch of designs for this as well. (The photos only show a few of them.)

I hope you'll find these signs useful, I really tried to do many options to choose from.

I told you about me travelling home so I won't be available until the 19th of January, I won't upload WIP posts in this time but I'll be here answering comments!

After I come back I'll start on the next part which will be finally an interior set, I don't know what exactly yet because I have so many ideas for the inside, I think I'll have to do more parts for it as well. :D We might start with the reception and lounge area because I wanna do bookshelfs too but I just know they will be a lot so I think they'll be in another part.

Girls Talk | Sims 4 Mod

Intro:

I wanted to create a mod that let my sims have more conversations than just "Ask about day" and "Gossip" you know? lol. This mod focuses on the conversations we have with friends, the good, the messy, the complicated, everything! Girls Talk allows your sims to vent, hype each other up, manifest things together, call out sims for being fake, give bad advice, and more! With this mod, your sims can have deeper "girls talk" interactions based on their moods and what type of friend they are from the most fake and toxic sim to the clingy, genuine, and loyal friend

2 special interactions that only appear under certain scenarios

TS4 UI Mockups 🌱

Along with my Whimsy Challenge Expanded challenge, I created several UI mockups to mimic TS4′s in-game moodlets, notifications, and more. Feel free to use these alongside your gameplay screenshots!

These are meant to be used with L'Univers Sims’ icon rips from the game, and utilize The Sims Sans fonts. All templates come as editable PSDs, and knowledge of Photoshop / other similar editing software is recommended.

What are Mods in The Sims 4?

Mods (modifications) and Custom Content (CC) are extra downloadable files for The Sims 4, created by fans and the Sims community, not by the official Maxis developers. Using mods and CC, you can significantly expand game features, customize your Sims’ appearance, add objects, and enhance gameplay.

Types of Sims 4 Mods

2) Gameplay Mods – Mods that add new features, traits, careers, scripts, improved UI, or enhanced interactions, creating a richer simulation experience.

Important: EA and Maxis do not officially support Sims 4 mods. Always use trusted Sims 4 mods sources, download from reputable sites, and back up your save files before adding new content to your game.

How to Install Mods and Custom Content in Sims 4 (PC & Mac)

Step 1. Download Sims 4 Mods or CC

Download the mod files to your computer. If you get a .zip or .rar archive, extract the contents first.

Step 2. Locate the Mods Folder

Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

If the Mods folder does not exist, you can create it manually.

Step 3. Move Mod Files to the Mods Folder

Mods for Sims 4 are typically .package files, and sometimes .ts4script files for more complex script mods. Place all mod and CC files into the Mods folder.

Step 4. Start The Sims 4

Step 5. Enable Mods in Sims 4 Game Settings

1. Open Sims 4 and enter Game Options.

2. Go to the Other tab.

3. Select "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed".

4. Click Apply Changes.

Step 6. Restart the Game

Fully close and restart The Sims 4 for your mods to appear and function properly.

Can You Use Sims 4 Mods on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. Mods and custom content for Sims 4 are only supported on PC (Windows) and Mac. Console versions (PlayStation, Xbox) do not allow the installation or use of mods.

Tip: Organizing your Sims 4 Mods folder helps prevent conflicts, reduces errors, and speeds up loading times. Create subfolders, keep a list of your installed mods, and regularly update outdated mods for the best gaming experience. It was bothering me that the UI is distorted by the shaders and after a bit of digging I only found one tutorial (and I had to scroll reallyyy far), so I made this so you don't have to dig too xd

open the Gshade menu and go to your preset

enable "FFKeepUI [KeepUI.fx]" and "FFRestoreUI [RestoreUI.fx]"

make sure that KeepUI.fx is above everything and RestoreUI.fx is below everything

in shader settings for KeepUI.fx, there's a "UI Detection Type Override" setting. Select the Alpha one.

Done! The UI should look (pretty) normal now, have fun!
