Read books. Go to museums. Watch documentaries. Educate yourself. You don’t need to go to an ivy league school to be cultured. You don’t need money to understand how the world works. You just need to put yourself first, and grab all the opportunities that comes your way.

The thing I’m most afraid of is me. Of not knowing what I’m going to do. Of not knowing what I’m doing right now.

The greatest effort is to be really where you are, contemporary with yourself, in your life, giving full attention to the world. That’s what a writer does. I’m against the solipsistic idea that you find it all in your head. You don’t.

Everyone has that one song that makes them travel in time and feel the emotions run through their veins.

There is nothing more captivate, seductive and addictive than getting inspired by someone. The minute you find your muse, that person becomes your God.
