Maturity is when you realize people can't give you what they can't give themselves, so you stop expecting loyalty from people who betray themselves, stop expecting honesty from people who lie to themselves, and stop expecting peace from people who are at war with themselves.

The one who loves the moon, still loves it when it is not in the sky, when it might not be in front of their eyes. The love is still there.

Maturity is not seeking revenge. It's healing and moving on, so you don’t become like the people who traumatized you.

I have no energy to hate anyone. I literally have no room in my heart to carry that sh*t around. I either love you, wish you well, or hope you heal.

If it gets awkward, let it be awkward. That awkwardness is something they created. You don’t owe anyone a performance of being okay when you are not feeling okay so that they can feel better about themselves. Jennifer Peepas
