Seeing the bounty hunter down on the ground made him grin. Wasn’t nice to be on hands and knees in the dirt, now was it?

     Kanan looked down at Boba, grin stretched on his lips. He was proud, happy to see the fact that he was on the ground. Oh, he had his skill. He was a Jedi, after all. The Jedi’s time had long past, but there were still some out there. He had to believe. Master Kenobi was. He was sure of it. There were also some Force sensitives. How couldn’t there be? One can kill off the ones existing now, but the Force just doesn’t stop. 

     Perhaps, the Jedi should have taken off when he should have, for the bounty hunter wasn’t as amused as he was. He showed his skill with swift movement, swinging his fist into his stomach.

    He doubled over, shock shuddered through his body, hands holding the injured area. Okay, yeah…he was pissed.

    𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐘  𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄  𝐓𝐎  𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐊  𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎  𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐍  𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄  𝐈𝐍  𝐀  𝐖𝐀𝐘  𝐇𝐄  𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓  𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍  𝐋𝐄𝐓  𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅.  and  it  was  entertaining,  to  say  the  least,  to  watch  the  other  man  double  over  after  his  fist  connected  with  his  gut.  boba  fett  was  quick  in  the  same  way  as  he  got  to  his  feet,  taking  the  opportunity  to  lunge  forward  into  kanan  ;  knocking  him  back  onto  the  ground  with  all  of  his  weight.  there’s  no  hesitance  from  the  hunter  at  all  as  he  pulled  another  survival  knife  out  from  his  shin  pocket  ━━━━   his  free  hand  curling  around  kanan’s  neck  ━━━━   then  stabbed  it  into  the  dirt  next  to  his  ear.

               His   comment   only   made   a   smile   reach   on   her   lips,   and   the   fact   that   he   was   quite   about   the   rest   meant   she   was   right.   Leia   liked   when   she   was   right.   However,   she   wouldn’t   get   too   ahead   of   herself.   There   are   ways   this   could   backfire   on   her.   Thankfully,   she   had   her   ride   ready   to   go   when   she   gave   the   command.   If   she   could   make   it   in   time…that   was   the   question.

            Brows   pulled   together   as   her   eyes   dropped   to   his   blaster.   Her   own   was   at   her   hip,   but   she   learned   to   quickly   draw   for   it   when   the   time   came.   If   anything,   she   was   grateful   she   was   a   good   shot.

            “   I   want   to   know   of   him,   yes,   ”   straight   to   the   point,   Leia   could   do   that,   “   I   can   only   assume   his   genius   ideas   got   him   in   trouble   with   the   wrong   people.   What   exactly   did   he   do?   ”   to   save   him,   she   needed   details,   “   And   why   you?   ”

    𝐀  𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒  𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃  𝐎𝐅  𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃  𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌  𝐁𝐎𝐁𝐀  𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐓.  something  of  that,  anyway  ;  though  it  was  quiet  enough  that  he  was  able  to  muffle  it  quickly.  the  bounty  hunter  found  it  amusing  that  she  didn’t  seem  to  know  anything  of  what  was  going  on  with  the  smuggler  despite  more  than  obviously  being  close  with  him.  fett  moved  to  slide  his  drink  to  the  side  of  the  table,  resting  his  elbow  up  and  pointing  a  finger  at  her  with  a  shake  of  his  head.

    ❛  do  you  know  what  that  man  has  done  in  his  life?  ❜  boba  questioned  her,  gravelly  voice  deepening  for  a  moment  before  he  cleared  his  throat,  ❛  never  mind  the  citizens  of  the  empire  that  he,  and  you,  have  killed  during  your  rebellion  ;  war  is  war  and  perhaps  you,  at  least,  think  you’re  fighting  for  justice  .  .  .  but  solo?  he’s  a  brave  man,  yes  ━━━━   he’s  also  a  mercenary  who’s  never  done  a  single  decent  thing  in  his  life  .  .  .  ❜

    the  hunter  was  quick  enough  to  shut  leia  down  about  any  assumptions  she  might  have  had,  finally  reaching  over  to  pull  his  drink  back  towards  himself  while  he  leaned  forward  ;  bent  halfway  across  the  tabletop.

    ❛  me,  because  they  don’t  trust  other  bounty  hunters  to  get  jobs  done  ━━━━   

               The   laugh   that   came   from   the   bounty   hunter   had   the   crime   lord   quite   dumbfounded.   Of   course,   he   had   heard   him   talk   plenty   of   times,   and   that   wasn’t   surprising   to   him   anymore.   It   was   the   laughter.   He   heard   many   other   sounds   leave   that   modulator,   but   he   hardly   heard   that   of   a   laugh.   It   made   him   feel   a   certain   way,   and   he   didn’t   like   it,   “   Of   course   no   one   else   would   say   it.   They   would   be   dead,   ”   he   mused,   golden   gaze   shimmered   with   mischief,   “   You   give   me   the   kind   of   service   I   ask   for.   ”
