One of the places I go to shoot birds is right next door to a small regional airport. These old war birds occasionally make an appearance. I can’t resist. 

Finally unpacking of boxes and boxes of stuff we didn’t know we’d kept, I stumbled across all of the original case candy from my ‘07 Thin Skin, including the LE neck plate, certificate and stainless flats. Dated 8/15/07, my guitar was one of the first produced in Sonic Blue, and the Thin Skin brochure only lists four colors total for the Jazzmaster and Jaguar: Fiesta Red, Shoreline Gold (WANT), Sea Foam Green, and Sonic Blue. The Tele TS model has by far the most options at this point, with the ‘52 in butterscotch, ‘55 in white blonde and ‘62 in white blonde over ash, LPB, SFG, then the ‘62 custom in LPB, Fiesta, SFG, Sherwood Green and two tone sunburst. 1930’s Gibson L-30 :: complete strip and refinish, back brace repairs, new frets and new bone nut.  This guitar has been in the client’s family since before World War II and was previously refinished in the 1970’s.
