It would be better to say that her father did, her mother tragically dies after her birth, leaving her father devastated but also absolutely spoiling Charlotte till..he finds a new wife who will ultimately Change everything.

At first Charlotte was excited for her new Mother, she seemed so nice with her father but once she was left alone with her the woman's true color show. She is cold and cruel towards Charlotte, actively locking her in her room if she is being too difficult and it only grows worse. Suddenly her father starts to behave similarly, taking away her toys and suddenly being so distant as well, and goes so far that she gets sent off to boarding school to teach her Respekt and because it was clear that the new Woman hated Charlotte.

This boarding school Quickly Turns out to be a disguise for a cult, luring children into it to gain new members quicker since it's fairly easy to form a child's mind. Charlotte however was very skeptical and critical about everything there which ofc lead into many punchmends and making her see things she shouldn't have, it was horrific in every way.

After all this pain a group of girls approached her and told her “you can get out of here for the small price of your Soul” and they showed her the book that entailed many demonic rituals including how to summon a certain snake demon to make a deal. At the time Charlotte was too afraid, what a demon? How could anyone consider this, wont it Just kill everyone that gets too close? But the Girls were patient saying “Once you feel into the dark with no escape, once your reads to give up your soul for power come find us” Charlotte simply nodded at the time and left, too scared to say anything to dose Girls who are always the weird ones in the corner.

Till one day düring there play hours outside and she decided she sneak Back inside to escape the sun and the angry watchers, since it was the first time she could move freely in the school she looked around, ending up near the Principles office which is a mystery itself since whoever gets sent there comes Out completely different, either the perfect student or a paranoid mess that will eventually stop speaking all together. It made her curious and she listened at the door, at first hearing a confusing conversation till..

“And what's with the Girl Charlotte?”

“Her? Ugh she is a good for nothing child, constantly asking questions and complaining. The only useful thing she can give us are new beautiful children”

“I am sure to let them know about them but.. how do we get her to oblige ?”

“If she complains, simply make her do it. Her dad long stopped even asking About her anyways”

Charlotte is frozen on the spot, she is Supposed to have children and nothing more? But her mother died from it, she doesn't want this, she Doesn't want to…and Fahter..but they wont listen..

This was the final nail in the coffin for Charlotte and she goes to the Girls.

They perform the ritual that same night, in the forbidden part of the school where no one ever goes. The Girls set everything up, the only thing Charlotte needs to do is place some of her blood in the middle. When they all sit down around it Charlotte starts to get scared, is she really gonna turn to a demon for help? What does it even mean to seal her Soul? So she says it.

Yet again the Girls are patient.

“We understand, it is scary, yes but with such a deal the Demon must serve you till the day you die naturally, it brings immense power.”

“Yes,it would be your best bet on getting out of here and getting your own life back.”

“Unless….you prefer being breed against your will Here”

“NO! No I dont, I dont want this but…waht will my father say? How would you explain this?”

“Hm true,I'm sure the Demon could help you with that as well. They do pose as humans then you know”

“Besids…hasnt your Father already forgotten about you?”

“...yes. yes he did”

She hasn't even thought about this before, father didn't care to reach out to her for years and so happily shipped her off into a cult. Why? WHY?

“You're angry hm? Good. You should be angry. You deserve better.”

“Expectly. You deserve better and she can help you get this.”

The fear and doubt suddenly turns into hate, a burning hatred for everything that has hurted her, she didn't deserve this…she didn't. But she is on the floor and nobody cares to help her up, Nobody cares what they want to do to her..so she will force them to care.

This convinces her, and they start the ritual. She barely remembers the chant actually, all she remembers is when the candles suddenly burned high and the 3 Girls suddenly contracted in pain before spurting with blood and falling to the floor. It was silent for a few Seconds, Charlotte didn't dare to breathe, till suddenly the sound of hundreds of snakes hissing can be heard and a horrific creature emerged right in front of her, mostly crowded in shadows but with a snake tail.

“Ssuch anger. Ssuch pain. How…delihgtfull”

The Twisted creature smiles at Charlotte.

“Waht do you Wish for, Mortal?”

Charlotte is horrified to speak but there is Just something that makes her anger take over

“I want to make a deal.”

When the teachers and the Principal finally noticed it they got there when all said was done. All they find are the 3 dead Girls, the demonic circle in blood, Charlotte and..a maid that wears a twisted smile and she received her First command. “Show everyone hell on earth before sending them to it”

So a demon rambadged through the school before bürning it all to the ground.

After this Iris brought her Back Home, her dress intent Whit blood and heavily bleeding from temples where the demonic mark now bloomed.

They were in the living room when Charlotte and Iris entered the room. There were no knocks, Iris simply broke through every door before länding in the living room, letting Charlotte walk in first. They were terrified to say the least but the woman was angry while her father was frozen in shock.

The woman yelled at Charlotte and Iris, stepping closer till she was silenced by Iris grabbing her and ripping her jaw off, letting it drop with a sickly sound.

“Now now, there is no need to yell. My lady has no interest in talking to you so any words from you are unnecessary."

Whilst she lets go, the woman falls to the floor. Alive for now but mute, Iris eyes now locking onto the Father with that smile still in place.

“Charlotte..who is that?"

The father finally finds his Voice, trembling in terror

“My new maid. Unlike you she will listen to me”

Charlotte points at her father and Iris moves closer in response

“W-wait-charlotte please.”

“Why did you stop trying to contact me?”

“I..I. Charlotte I-”

“Didn't care ? Some women come by and suddenly I'm nothing to you…you didn't even care what this cult put me ..”

“Would you like me to get rid of him, my mmLady? I have no problem making it look like he went on a little…rampaige, killing her and then himself.”

“Wait -wait! What do you mean what they did to you? Charlotte what happened, what did you do?!”

“A little late to care, No?”

Iris is awfully amused by this

“SHUT UP! You are not part of this,you-you”

“I…heard enough"

Iris smile grows bigger at this, there eyes growing snake like

“As wished,my Lady.”

So as Already said there obsessed whit each other openly say they want to just lock each other away so they may never leave but.. It doesn't mean that they don't Care. they have conflicted feelings for this Care, there kinda in denial about it since there demons,thats exactly a normal emotions for them.

But they have it anyways and it easily slips through because of there Nature its very rare they have to worry about each other but the few times something Dose actually injure them or they at least think it did? There hearts drop and rage boils over. After all is done the person who got angry usually Has a bit of a hard time admitting it while the other one is delighted and even more in love than before.

Charlotte has the sadistic sense to tell Iris to stop moving when something is about to hit Iris, it annoyed Iris greatly to say the least.

Once when Charlotte and Iris were at the Phantomhives estate and finny had a little.. accident with one of the Status and ended up launching it into the air, right towards Iris. They wanted to get out of the way but Charlotte told her to stay still which they did. It hit, bringing iris to the floor and buried under it but it was different, usually they just stood up while complaining about their clothes now being dusty. This time they actually stayed on the floor for longer than usable, even let out a yelp when the thing hit them. They were getting a little Worried but Charlotte tried to keep up the act meanwhile Sebastian took very little time to break and go to check on them, its the yelp that really spooked him because Iris does not make sounds when injured 90% of the time.

But just when Sebastian got closer, Iris stood up annoyed and said “Will you finally stop making me get hit now ,my Lady?” It was a trick to spook Charlotte into stopping but they quickly notice Iris who was Ständig closer, with a lifted hand and their gaze suddenly grows very adoring. Folding hands together and the Classic anime love shinies suddenly appear

“Where did you worry about me?”

Sebastian struggled a little whit the rebound before quickly composing himself, back in his butler stance “Well I would be a terrible host if I didn't care for our guests”

Iris wasn't rolled dough, the Just got worst and so did there gaze, suddenly going to cling to his arm and refusing to let go for the next 5 minutes

“You were worried, don't try to hide it my dear~”

“.. Perhaps."

Yet again it doesn't take long for Sebastian to give in and also didn't try to get her of his arm despite the very very tight grip

The time whit Sebastian happens düring this attack I already mentioned before. Düring their little moment they were both far too distracted by one another to notice the sudden bullet being shot and hitting Sebastian but this time he actually stumbles and falls over which definitely spooked Iris a lot. Turns out the guy had scratched holy symbols into his Pistole which still didn't save him from Iris deflecting the next bullets with their rapier and quickly killing him. Even so Iris quickly went back, only to be greeted by a perfectly fine Sebastian, now holding the bullet in his hand. The man didn't scratch the Symbols into the bullet so it Basicly did nothing still even if it hurted more at first. Sebastian Right away looks delighted, almost like a cat who just got a treat.

“My, where you Worried About me, my little snake?”

"Well, I.."

Sebastian steps closer and looks even more delighted as before while all these shinies appear again

“I suppose one could call it Worry…”

At that Sebastian just burst with joy and affection, trapping her in a hug from behind, almost purring like a cat and refusing to let go for a solid 9 minutes

Düring does 9 minutes, finnian, may-rin and baldroy found them and were shocked to see Sebastian so Captivated. Baldroy was a little weirded out but the other 2 found it very cute, yes may-rin was kinda heart broken but also very happy since they seemd happy.

(I really like may-rin and I refus to belive she wouldnt beabel to be happy for the 2)

Iris actually Dose follows rules to a T , well at least when someone is there to see it. For one they simply don't want to go to the fortress but more importantly they want to put the burden on neuvillette to sentence them. They know he would do it, he has to, but they wouldn't be surprised if it would rain for days after…

So while in the fountain they do really watch Out for the law, ofc always slipping through loop holes and Making sure none is there to witness it if they do bend the Rules a little, but over all keeps a clean nose. In other places it's a different Story, expressly in nod-krai.

Neuvillette technically knows that Iris likes to bend the rules but he doesn't know of any specific instant which makes the “Knows” into a “thinks” again since there is no Evidenz. They keep saying this at least and that it's only bending not breaking.

Iris does like to tease him here and there about it. For instant they will start to tell people about certain loop holes but stops neuvillette arrives whit the words

“Hm I better stop now, I wouldn't want the Chief Justice to find something against me”

Neuvillette is Always a little infuriated by this

“Prehaps simply don't do anything that I could use against you in court”

“Awww where is the fun in that?"

He can only take so much of this teasing since he really doesn't want to have to lock them away.

“Iris.”

“Alrigh alright, I will be good and was as well since I didn't do anything.”

Neuvillette appreciates it a lot, of course everyone is just Supposed to follow the law yes but he knows Iris Wouldnt do it normal. They don't want to go to the fortress but as long as their actions could make some difference they wouldn't care, they care far less about their own well being then the once of others. They became used to the worst and now believe it's something they have to take if needed.They could handle some days or Months in the fortress, hell even longer, but they know Neuvillette couldn't.

He Knows this too, it makes him feel relieved but also saddened that they think of themself in such a manner.

He does always try to get through their skull that even if they can handle something alone,they don't have to. He is there but.. more often then Iris still prefers to do stuff alone “I don't want to pull you down into my hole” is what they always say

Such Phrases were always used when they were imprisoned in Inazuma and they never stopped using it. Even know they say things “Im in a hole whit little light" "Don't climb down to me,even if you try you cant pull me up” or “Some just stay Underground forever”

Even now they still feel like they are in this because of the irreversible damage they have caused themself, of the dark paths they have would result from that.

When Fighting there is usually competitive but together they just enter with each other, they can't help but touch so closely. Truly when they fight it's more like a Dance just between them and Anyone who tries to disturb it simply dies by their hands.

They can't really hold back their obsession then but they don't want to either. It's honestly funny to see how the humans react to it. Dancing between blood and corpses with such passion that would make a demon Blush (hehe, because it does.) They even give each other the kill of the misfortune Souls that dare step to close. Sebastian often just rips the heart out of one and offers it to Iris, knowing how beautiful she finds them.

The oh so awfully touchy Düring it as well. When Sebastian dips iris over an edge his hand traces there leg till the skirt part of their maid Outfit bundles at the hip, coming up behind her to let his hand trace all over her Front, mabye even opening a button. Iris coming up from a place behind to grab him by the leg and trace all along it, suddenly slipping into his arm to trace his torso all over and unfasting the tie-its honestly quite uncomfortable and or embaressing to see.

And ofc, Maylin (love her) is saddened to hear that Sebastian is actually taken but when seeing this dance they have together she is both a little flustered but happy for him.

Not knowing the very obsessive parts of it off but it's clearly part of the fun for them.

Also they got into such a Fight First time while Charlotte and Iris where staying over at the Phantomhives estate, it was suddenly attacked by a Group of people, yes the one Charlotte is after, and while Bringing ciel and Charlotte to safety she said “Iris, help them get rid of these rude good for nothing men!!”

Iris ofc obliged, ciels staff was a little worried since they didn't think Iris is the Fighting kind,they hide it well at least, but Iris simply grinned will pulling Out a Rapier from seemingly no where

“Did you think I could have met Sebastian if I was an ordinary Maid?”

Which then let to Sebastian and Iris having this dance

Also this is the Maid dress In vision for her, obvious gonna be modified but over all like this

So Ciel and Charlotte quickly find out that they're together because of Charlotte plaintely asking.

“Okay, Clearly I have a demon Maid and you have a demon butler-”

Iris “Subbel as ever, my Lady”

Ch "Whatever, do you 2 have some kind of rivalry going on? You 2 have been staring at each other nonestop”

Ci “I noticed the same thing, What does it exactly entail Sebastian?”

And then they explain it whit being obsessed whit other, Iris goes into führt detail that a demon love would probably bring a human into ending themself so they finally stop feeling there bürning eyes on them, big mistake since then there in hell whit Them, but for the 2 its Lovely.

At first Iris and Sebastian didn't tell any of the other staff members for many reasons really but didn't hope for long.

Charlotte ofc didnt meet with ciel for no reason, there is a group of people that not only scammed her but also many other people and has caused much information, she wants them behind bars. Ofc Iris could have handled it easily alone but she insisted since it's the perfect opportunity to get in touch with the phantom hives.

This Investigation led into a meeting in Secret and that often, it turned out far more complicated than planned, especially after Elizabeth had caught the 2 meeting once and thought Ciell was got too Close to Charlotte. They couldn't just Tell her the real plans so Charlotte resorted into saying

“Elisabeth, please I would never. This isn't some kind of secret Lovers meeting for me and ciel but..A-A secret Lovers meeting for Iris and Sebastian!”

Everyone, yes maylin, finny and bard were all there too, were unsurprisingly very shocked, responding with a collective what??

Ch"It's true! The 2 are dating but are Always so busy with their duties and couldn't even be Public about it since the high class would definitely talk about the staff of 2 different houses being together so we decided to be nice for one and let them meet under the Discus of us Meeting”

Ci “Exactly,it was them meeting Not us, we were simply there as Alibi.”

Iris and Sebastian looked at each other just slightly annoyed before playing the part of an embarrassed couple getting caught.

“I-I suppose it would be a lie to say ohterwise , even if quite embarrassing..” Iris says this while covering her face.

“It was my own fault really, I simply couldn't help myself from wanting to see her to offend." Sebastian has like a hand on his cheek while saying that.

Is silent for a while before Elizabeth suddenly Jumps with joy, going to Iris and Sebastian to grab them both by the arm

“Really you 2 are dating? How cute! How did you 2 meet? I want to know the Hoke Story!”

Iris and Sebastian easily whip up a Story of them Meeting while they were at their respective schools to become a proper Maid/Butler, at first hating each other but slowly being unable to look away from each other.m Not at all how they meet ofc but Everyone buys it and wants to hear more.

Sebastian and Iris later discuss how affectionate they have to be now so it doesn't seem distant but also how little off it so this deep Obsession doesn't break out to much

I don't know if that fandom is still alive but I got back into Back Butler, the older version I never watched the new one tbh.

And ofc I Thought of a hole oc again and yes she is Sebastian's lover. Now you might think but he is probably so toxic with love, its Obsession then-yes. Expectly.

Iris is also a demon, a snake demon, and they're both just Extremely obsessed with each other. Stalking each other constantly, getting very angry when the other one is with someone else, especially if they “presuway” a person with .

And they know that to Humans that is Extremely toxic but for them? Es ist . They like it.

Giving each other forehead kisses while threatening to rip out the other once legs so they could never leave again is how they show affection to one another. Yes they are tender with each other as well ofc, they care still but it's always with that edge of possessive obsession. They also actually hurt each other if they get jealous and they find it fun. Fighting is basically foreplay there.

They do often their current Masters, it's part of the contract after all, but take any time they can get as well.

Ciel and Charlotte, Iris' current master, come to meet at some point and not only do Iris and Sebastian instantly recognize each other and stare, the masters also notice this.

Once Charlotte addresses it Iris actually needs to consider how to explain the relationship because they don't exactly have the typical kind of it. Eventually they settle with being obsessed with each other.

2 obsessed stalkers make 1 relationship that isn't healthy by any means but they both love.

Neuvillette ofc explained that he cant just send them into the fortress for Reason, that this needs to be disgust to set a possebilly appointment for such a visit, only if its truly Important at that which wasn't fast enough for this person.

Wriothesley then jokingly said you could just commit a crime to get into the fortress but unfortunately that wasn't taken as a joke. They could just punch someone here really hard but who? They thought they stood a chance to even Land it against the 2 men but when iris had the big misfortune to knock and walk in because a melusin asked them too.

Wasting no time they sprinted and punched iris straight in the face before they could even notice what was going on, now bleeding from the nose they stumbled and broke a vase by falling against it, barely catching themself. " the fuck?!? I wasn't even part of this conversation yet!" Iris was understandably angry and confused, neuvillette was very irritated by this but checked on them First

After Iris is sat down and given a tissue the person ask "Well is that enough to get me in the Fortress”

Neuvillette, who is still quite angry, "Yes, about 50 days I would say for assault and for breaking Public property"

"Hold on, I didn't break the Vase-I thought it be like 20 days at best”

"Well Iris wouldn't have tripped and broken the vase if you didn't punch them in the face full force, which did break their nose might I add. Now Im sure wriothesley will be Happy to take you to the fortress"

Not exactly the smartest move to punch the beloved of the Chief Justice. Yes they didn't know Iris is that but still, they sat there way longer than wanted.

Wich is exactly waht Im doing now, Iris meet varka in nod-krai. I really like nod krai.

I Imagen he sympely spoted them out in the fields one day, frezzing a hole back of fatuis wich couhgt his intrested. Douhg he didn't get to speak to them then because they quickly dissapeard after all said was done. He ask around a little and the Barkeeper at the flag told him taht they Know this person. They always show up around the same time and mostly Orders the same meal evry time, Somtimes whit wine somtimes whit out.

So by waht I saw I touhgt out taht he just paied for there food before hand, once they showed up and heard of it, they where confused but also very susuquis, none the less they want to thank him. But varak also asked the food To be brouhgt to there tabel since he wanted to Chat, taht only made Iris more susuquis but also intrested.

Varka talked a lot and also invited them To Track along whit his man wich they decline at First but he mentiont somthing taht couhgt there intrest, ultimately agreeing to it.

Iris was on high guard around them and keept a cool fasad at first. Varka of cours noticed it, also ecpected it considering there over all deminor and all these scars they have, expesely whit a few looking Like they been whipped, it was save to say they faced betrayel befor and now sees evryone as a treaht at first. I didn't meet him yet but somthing tells me he has a serten way to get trouhg to peopel.

In Iris case he acted just a little more silly and on purpuse made amusing mistakes here and there, He figured taht he would seem less of a treaht to them whit all these misshaps plus Pretending like he isnt paying as much Attention as he actuly dose. And it did Work, Iris let there actuly behavor shine trouhg, even started talking about there home fontain and there birht place Inazuma. They also indulge in a few rounds of drinking Whit them but never enouhg to actuly get drunk.

But sertenly enouhg to cloud there mind since when talking about fontain the petname "Beloved" slipped trouhg. Varka was Sertenly intrested in Hearing more about this beloved of theres (Neuvillette) but didn't push to much about the name. Iris was a little embaressed still.

They worked tohgeter till iris needed to leave again, Back to fontain. They where in nod-krai for less than a Mohnt but before taht they Spended Mohnts in sumeru. Befor leaving Iris told him how to contact them, varka did had to push them a little ofc.

Aaand the drawing is finnaly done! My genshin oc iris. Despite living in fontain I wanted them to still wear an Inazuma style and clearly I wanted it to be icy cold.

The necklace is Supposed to be more of a deep ocen blue because taht one is from neuvillette, still wanting it to fit there style but also be a little reminder off him since they travel a lot.

The sleves are long enouhg taht when there arms are done there Hands are coverd, unless there Holding there spear ofc, because there fingers are usaley blue wich they rahter hide from evryone. There lips somtimes get a blue tint as well but then they claim its sympely lipstick.

There spear was actuly just a normal spear but they have completly Frozen and capsulsted it in ice because like this it will freze wahtever it touches,it also made it esayer to wield whit there cryo heavy attacks.

The kimono hängs rahter lose around there shoulders for one they sympely prefer it but also becouse when they clim and such they slip there arms out there sleves to avoid getting them dirty, having it this lose makes it esayer.

The shoes are Out Of Tradition, there are some of Dose they still like to follow even Douhg they think rahter low about arcons, but also to just not step into the mud deeply.

Obivously there always cold, dosent Matter waht you do, even under a blanket they feel the chill since its coming from whit in them. There not in pain from it but it bohters them more than they admit. I mean just imagen taht you feel cold,Im sure it would mess whit there head a little to never feel warmt in anything.

Anohter Thing is they can get colder deppending on there mood, spesific how safe they feel and how "cold" evrything around them feels. It is there Soul tahts cousing this at all so surley there mental staate would affect it.

I have touhgt out taht they once on purpuse got themself into the Fortress to talk to some peopel Down there, tahts also how they meet wriothesley and sigewinne. Ofc wriothesley noticed them snooping around ohter prisinors and keept an eye on them but didnt really do anything because they dont seem Intrested in any secrets of the facility or breaking out off it by force. Till sigewinne told him about her troubels trowards Iris, for one there Soul ofc, noticing taht somthing is off but not quite waht, but also the cold. She noticed taht Iris seemd to get colder by the day, suddenly always sitting curled up, staying at the work sone because of the hot enginis and closely Monitoring how they breaht because if they breath to "hard" it can be seen, she also swear taht see saw ice on her skin once. Wich lead him into Investigation more, after all why are they even cold? They dont have there vision. Also because sigewinne really wanted to better there Kondition

Long story short he tricks them and finds out About all this. More Importantly he saw touhgt the cool (hehe) fasad taht there not bohterd by the cold, so did Sigewinne. After taht, evry day at Lunch there was always a susuquis cup of tee whit there food wich actuly manget to warm them up. There best guss was taht sigewinne infused it whit pyro some how.

They have stollen taht idear but offent just straihgt up drinks a vial of well liquid pyro element insted of brewing a tea. Far less enjoyebil but helps None the less. Key word helps, it dosent make them warm just helps from ice forming on there skin and well frezzing.

Lets Talk about the fatui and diluc realtions. So they also went to Snezhnaya, not as long as diluc and sertently less bloody but in the Mohnts they where there they meet diluc. He tried to kill them at first thinking they where part of the fatui but once they explain taht the fatui also ruind there life they decided to work tohgeter. While they generelly had the same Goal, get info and see how far the fatui have Already gone, there was one big diffrents between them. Iris still had mercy and didn't want to just kill of any fatui they see, neihter did they really want to use Torture mehots on them. For one peopel tend to just say waht you want to hear then insted of the truht and Second, they sympely didn't want to. Wich led to a lot of Arguments off "just let me burn him!" And "How about we dont kill evryone we see" and once led into Iris having to klock diluc in the Family jules as hard as possebil just so he wouldnt run after the fatui they just let go. Diluc dosent like to remeber this but Iris happyly teases him whit it evrytime they see ech ohter.

Cleary they have still become Friends despite all taht and still Like to work tohgeter.

And for the funnsis and because I used to ship them whit diluc before neuvillette, they come to monstad after diluc ask them to via Letter and because of how comfortabil iris seems whit teasing an bugging him and whit dilucs rare smile appearing more offent, venti,kaeya and varka just think oh there deffently dating in Secret. They aint but didnt stop them from trying to get info and evrything. Iris found it incredebly amusing when they crashed a supposed "date" and said "You didnt even tell me where on a date diluc, I would have worn somthing nicer then" while diluc was very annoyed and embaressed about it, chasing them off.

So as Already said, they feel diffrently then diluc Regading the fatui. If anything they work whit harbingers, mainly lynnes "Fahter". Sure her info is expensiv but always accured and they Respekt her viwe of things. They dont Belive evry fatui is just terrebil, it really Depends on wich harbinger there serving , if its dottore or phantolon, there dead. Whit ohter harbingers its debatebil.

Also there close enouhg whit the Marionette taht she has invited iris to tea more than once. Let me explain the incident and childhood First. So they where Born in Inazuma, the clan is Kind of a black sheep in Inazuma because of things taht Happend in the passt, thankfuly taht only really ment Taht the clan had no Influenz anymore and didn't really affect Iris Childhood. The fatui has taken controll of Inazuma basicly, rules where Always Strick and the consequenses for crim harsh but..the fatui could get rid of anyone they want and sympely pin it to Somone else, Like a serten Kid taht was already part of a black sheep clan.

An older man taht was of high rank couhgt wind taht la sinora is has taken controll and wanted to Rebel against this so he was Quickly.. silents.

Problem was they needed a skape goat, the man was well known and beloved by his Family wich would insinst to find the one who did it. Iris just happend to be said unlucky skape goat.

Trouhg Meditation and much Training you can seperate you body and soul. Whit your soul you can reach out for your visions power and vield on a much greater skale. When they take full Advantage of the detached Soul, forming a icy ghost of sorts who can creat a giant ice spear taht frezzes evrything it Hits, there body will slowly start to Cover in ice. They cant focouse on ice not working around and on them, even Ending up hurting them, because if the lose focouse they could actuly lose there hold on there Soul and there essentily dead then. So whenever they used this power for to long they will get Hypothermia, blue lips, fingers so Frozen they couldnt move them. Sure there more acostiom to cold but sertenly not to Handel this.

But it didnt matter at the time, they did it, used the power to break out and fleet, not to fontain at First they where Traveling evrywhere, also Snezhnaya so yes they know diluc but there band like him but actuly got in contact whit some of the harbingers for varios reasons, mostly Info. There not part of the fatui but they dont hate evry singel one, for them it deppends wich harbingers there serving.

After a while they just ended up in fontain and ultimately stayed, well got a House there since they still travel.

So neuvillette, Yes im shipping them whit him for self indulgen, really really dislikes it when Iris uses this power like taht at all, in anyway. The amount of times he found a half frozen Iris who just looks at him noncholontly saying "Hey neuvi" like there not actuly in a lot of pain since there to stubborn to admit it, far to many times for his poor heart

Also I love citlali, yes clery genshin is elergic to old and black peopel wiche such a uge shame and missed opprutunety, but I still like her personality a lot.

Making the natlan Charakters actuly black would have been a huge huge improvment still.
