The Blue-Eyed-Demoness

(( Hello! Its me after... forever of not saying or doing anything! I admit I’ve been on an rp slump tumblr wise and have been content in just reblogging things every once in a while. I know I don’t have many people who wanna rp with me anyway, but I feel bad for not saying something about what the hell I’ve been doing. Currently its redoing Darksiders fan fiction for the... fourth time, but with the third game coming out I’ve been really back into it with better ideas and more fleshed out story writing. 

I’ve actually made an outline of the entire thing for the most part already! And part of me is wondering if maybe I should post a chapter or two on tumblr when I finally finish them? I was thinking of just putting them on AO3, but I’m feeling a little brave and wanting to put it out on tumblr to see if I can get any feedback. 

“ Don’t you think its dangerous to have your first research subject be fae?”

She held whimsy behavior upon the new, that was certain. But only a brainless person would come to mess with my people. Were not as tamed as the other are. This generation of mortals lack the teachings of their ancestors. That be the reason so many are easily fooled by our kindness. Now she tells me of her upbringing. How dull. Why does she continue on her journey of becoming a shaman. I have no complaints of spreading word of our deities, members, and our outworldly ways to a closed child. It brings some joy to see that there be one out of the millions to still take interest in us.

“ Originally I was going to make you do a laborious task but I’ve changed my mind. I’ll grant you permission to stay.”

Why did she have to say it in a way that made it sound like Claudia was trying to experiment with them or something? She just wanted to study and learn about them. Sure there was going to be dangers but she was sure she could handle it, it wasn’t like she didn’t have means to defend herself. 

“Why? Fae and Shamans share a bond with the Otherside, or Spirit Realm. Just Shamans don’t actually live there.” Not unless they were dead. “And Its not like I don’t know how to protect myself, I’m not completely helpless. Being able to learn about them will help me avoid those dangers as well. I feel like I’d just have a better connection with beings that are connected to a realm my people are also connected to.” She needed to learn about Shamanism somehow without relying on her mother’s book. 

“ And what may I ask, do you wish to learn of my people? – Would it be interactions, ability, or perhaps our past human ties we had.”

We can not be to sure of foreigners. With them they brought calamity and revolt, just as the foreign god brought on a feud between fae and mortals.

“ You say you come here as a friend, well first you’ll have to prove it”

“Everything!” She said without much thought at first. She tried to not sound so excited, she was an adult after all and the last thing she needed was to seem like she was some naive human who didn’t know any better. “I’ve never had an opportunity to even communicate with creatures like fae or anything else, I’ve been isolated most of my life. I want to learn, I want to understand the nature of supernatural creatures. Maybe if I do, I can reach a better understanding on how I’m supposed to be a Shaman.” Because, again, she wasn’t one, just trying to train to be one without a teacher. Obviously it wasn’t working well for her. 

Shaman? Hm perhaps a foreign magus…no I be sure if this was the case we’d have some form of being notified. How irritating to be blind to uncommon beings. I suppose I’ll make it more simple to comprehend for this child.

“ Alright, Shaman, do you come to this land as friend or foe?”

Hopefully this more direct question would be easier on my mind and bring a decision on whether she stays or goes.

The way she said Shaman was so dreadfully hostile. Did Claudia really look that dangerous? Spirits, she was tired of getting into trouble every where she went, especially when she hadn’t done anything. 

Hm how strange, if this girl isn’t of this world then the Spriggans should have removed her by now, instead she frolics freely. And though she resembles a mere mortal she can sense our magical ability with ease, perhaps a sorcerer of sorts or dare I say an alchemist.

Titania gave off a stern look towards the girl’s direction. If there be a possibility of her being an alchemist, then it be the queen’s duty to remove any who tamper with the order of nature. An offense like that was unacceptable both in her majesty’s sacred lands and in Albion ( British islands).

“ Answer me child, do you be a sorcerer or alchemist?”

She felt tense again when that stare bared down upon her. What was this sudden change of atmosphere? Was it something she said? Possibly, considering the Queen’s question. It didn’t make Claudia feel any better, especially since it was still unclear what Shamans were to this world.
