angels in heaven...

When Youngjae sees the other rubbing his head he slightly cowers and makes himself seem smaller as he knows that he had hurt the other. It was an accident of course, but it was an accident that Youngjae had caused. With the words that the taller man spoke Youngjae wasn’t sure that he was forgiven yet. He’s thinking to himself how horrible this whole situation is and luckily the other was a slightly friendly type and didn’t threaten to sue. Youngjae has been in several situations due his clumsiness.  He tries to explain himself, “I’m sorry. The workers and everyone just looked so busy and peaceful that I was afraid to bother them, but it looks like I ended up making a bigger mess. Are you alright? Do you need to go to the hospital and get a check up? Just to make sure and everything?” 

This was ridiculous and Nana was just about to do rock, paper, scissors on the clothes to pick when she heard his answer. Turning towards him, she blinks for a moment before smiling and putting the pants and skirt back into her closet. “Thank you, Yoonsu. And~ you as well, baby~” She bends down some to pet and stroke at Apollo’s head affectionately before standing up straight. "It’ll only take me a little while to get ready and then we can leave. Meanwhile, can you make sure he goes to the bathroom? The pads are in the kitchen in the corner." Pointing towards the kitchen briefly, she disappeared into her closet to grab a towel before going out of her room, kicking a few of the clothes on the floor back into the closet to get them out of the way. It wasn’t exactly cleaning up, but she could take care of it once she came back.

Youngjae is on the very tip of his toes, well not exactly, but practically as he reaches for a book on one of the higher shelves. At this moment he is cursing himself for not drinking more milk even though he didn’t really like it all that much. He liked it once in a while just not everyday. As he finally grabs the book he smiles with relief before he loses his balance slightly and his hand is trying to find a place to grab and that’s when he knocks down a whole row of books off the rack. Staring with wide eyes Youngjae starts bowing and apologizing to the person beside him, afraid that a book fell and injured the other, “I’m sorry. Are you hurt?” 

Moving to the side to allow him a little more room in order help her sort through her clothing in the closet, she answered him with a shrug. She usually wore whatever she felt was comfortable for her at the moment. “Everything and anything? I don’t usually have a set style…” Taking her earlier place in the closet, she soon took out a pair of pants, shorts, and a skirt, head tilting one way and then the other as she contemplated which to choose. She would turn to see him holding out the crop top and she nodded her head, mimicking him with the bottoms to wear with it. Either of the three would have worked with the crop top but she was so indecisive on what to pick. The shoes were the only thing she knew for a fact on what to wear. And her hair. Until he picked, Nana would interchange the combinations, she going between liking and disliking them. Meanwhile, Apollo was done with his food and was working his way across the floor, jumping on Yoonsu’s leg to be picked up.

"What? I’m hungry, and don’t feel like cooking…" He paused, raising a brow as he looked at the other. "So, I thought I should come over here." Really, he believed he didn’t have to explain. It should be clear: he was there for food and to hang out with them. The latter hadn’t been explained, but it was in his nature to tease his friends.

'There aren't many of you running around the streets'.. What was that even supposed to mean? “What do you mean ‘many of me’? Yoga instructor single fathers? Probably not.” Out of reflex, though, his wings pressed closer to his back and he leaned against the nearest wall.  There was literally no way for Yoon-su to know about either his wings or night job, but he had to be cautious.

As the door was closed in front of her, she stood there for about thirty seconds before the wriggling puppy in her arms snapped her back to attention. Taking him into the kitchen, she set him down and quickly made his food. Kneeling down, Nana watched as her pet ate, occasionally reaching out to stroke and pet along the animal’s back. “Make sure to eat it all. I won’t be back for a little while and I don’t want you to be hungry.” Apollo didn’t lift his head and only continued to eat.  When the shower turned off, she knew he would be out soon and that meant she could get ready. Glancing at the clock on the stove, she stood up and went into her room to pick out what to wear for work. She whined in defeat and stomped her feet childishly as she tossed outfit after outfit onto her bedroom floor and on her bed. Huffing in exasperation, she stuck her head out of her closet and yelled, “Yoonsu! Help me~”

"People see the world differently, it would be boring if we all saw it the same way." He says with a small shrug. 

“True.” That much he can agree to, however it ends there. And maybe he is too caught up in his own person demons to see the world any different from anything he has so far. “Why don’t you think monsters always win? Personal experience?”

"How many times do I need to remind you that I have a child and you can’t randomly let yourself into the apartment?” Harper wasn’t entirely concerned about Nala, honestly, he was concerned about what would happen to Yoon-su should his…associate catch him entirely off caught. A throwing knife to the groin wasn’t the best way to explain he had coping issues. "All that aside, Mister Intellect, why are you here? There have to be better couches in Seoul."

Him actually accepting her offer was just as much a surprise to her than it was to him. So much so that Nana was momentarily stuck in her position, the only thing to snap her out of her stupor being the curve of his smile. Blinking quickly, she stood up straighter and leaned off the couch. "Um…just so you know," She muttered while picking up Apollo and nuzzling her nose against the puppy’s own affectionately, "I work at a club. Will that be alright with you?" Nana was asking mainly because she knew for a 98% fact she didn’t have any male clothes for him to go clubbing in. For some reason, Nana waited for him to pick out something, if only to see if he could find something to wear out of that pile. When he did, she couldn’t even bring herself to say anything. Going to a hallway closet, she opened it and pulled out some towels and handed them to him. "The…the spare toothbrushes are in the cabinet."

An eyebrow arched in curiosity at his question of being left alone, using her hand to prop herself against her couch. “I have to go to work or else I’ll be in trouble.” She gave him a small smile, pushing her free hand through her hair to adjust it and keep it out of her face. That reminded her…didn’t he have a job of his own to get back to? He hadn’t mentioned it the entire time he was there and she didn’t want to bring it up but now she couldn’t help be curious. “You can come with me to my job, but I won’t be able to really hang out with you since I’ll be working.” Yoonsu gave her the vibe of being a little kid though he was clearly not a child. That is, if she left him alone for too long he would either get into trouble or panic. Neither of those sounded like good options.

 "Prison, huh? Sounds like what I call my job every once in a while." The looked spared at her doesn’t go unnoticed, the corner of her mouth ticking in a somewhat amused manner. Putting the pile of clothes down beside him on the couch, she reaches down in front of his to affectionately scratch under Apollo’s chin for a moment only to pull away soon after, "Make sure he gets a bath while you’re being cuddled and pet, okay?" Yes, Nana talked to her dog as though he were an actual person, the wagging of his tail only playing into the fact that she thought he understood her. "As for you, at some point, decide what you want to eat later so I can make it before I leave." She didn’t want him having to worry about food while she was at work.
