My childhood trauma didn't make me stronger. it made me a people pleaser. it made me forgive way too much. it made me not speak when i'm supposed to. it made me an extreme empath.

it has drained my whole body and soul

Manipulation is when they will blame you for your reaction to their toxic behaviour, but don't discuss their disrespect that triggered you.

You deserve a calm love with somebody who's your safe space, your best friend, and brings peace to your soul during stressful times.

normalize not forcing people to choose you. If someone thinks they can get better elsewhere – let them try. Respectfully.

my chest aches from the grief and anger which was once love

its hard to keep up with your relationships when you are not mentally alright, i don’t know why we keep forgetting it and keep pushing ourselves to be there and be available to absolutely everyone even on the worst days when we need to be left alone.

i had to go through this yesterday. i had nothing left to give.
