Jackson grinned down at Derek as they sat there curled up together on the couch. “Hey there babe, how was your day?” He looked down and gently kissed Derek’s cheek, “I’m glad you’re home now.”

It took him a moment to figure out what his boyfriend was getting at, but when he did, it stopped him short. The way Scott described it made him think of his own situation and mindset since the whole kanima situation. “I’ve never really thought of it that way, I mean, I’ve always figured that it was just something to deal with.” He sighed, taking a moment to curl closer to his boyfriend and relax against his warm chest. “I know I’m not always the easiest to deal with, but I know that you’re here for me, and I’ve never had any doubts about that, ever. I love you so much babe.”
