What were two lively and eager partygoing Pokemon packed and zipping for the vast sheets of ice fell windless, silent, before the towering robed black obelisk that coincidentally paced into their path. They could make out little, but from what they could see⌠this man had a powerful figure underneath this bulking furred coat. Considering his bladed helmet and white, hollow-looking expressionless mask, he had all the makings of what could potentially be a monster. Chills⌠chills slid down the younger onesâ spines from just having to look up at him. Seconds turned to a few minutes as the air grew thick with tension due to the intense silence, before the large armored statue-esque man broke into a stern, harsh tone.
â⌠Why have you stopped.â
âS-sorry! We didnât uh, s-see you there sir, we justâŚâ âWe thought we were going to b-b-buh, bu-b-bââ
âEnough. You were never in my way,â pinned the Bisharp, as it took him little context to pick up on what they would say. Thus, the man⌠âreassuredâ in a cold fashion, as he slowly raised a black and white bladed hand pointing towards the lake, showing that heâs well aware of where they were making a beeline to. âJust proceed. Now.â
âY-YESSIR!â
No time was wasted as the two younger Pokemon hastily nodded and immediately zipped around the dark knight, in what seemed to be something of a panic. Scoffing, Zarathos took a few more steps forward, but then paused to look over his shoulder. Initially, it was to ensure the Pokemon were not hesitating by looking back at HIM, and instead were well on their way to the lake as anticipated. Fortunately the latter was the case, as he watched the two attendees already at rest by the lakeshore, sporting their attire before eagerly leaping onto the ice and gliding across its slippery surface.Â
As the cloaked warrior held his gaze, even from a distance, he could see the liveliness, the festiveness of all the collective Pokemon having the time of their lives. Whether they were exhibiting their skills, muddling their attempts and causing others to laugh, or just smiling at one another in each othersâ presenceâŚ

The Xernishvoir Queen was merely passing by the 'war zone' of snowball fights when the fighters stilled. Curious, she turned her gaze to what drew their attention. <<Zarathos.>>
It wasn't hard to spot him, in fact it was near impossible not to shift your attention to the Dark Knight. This was true even for someone such as the Queen. She sensed his aura before her eyes lay upon his massive figure. It was only once the two of them had met, though unforgettable, that time was a good distance back.
It gave the Queen slight amusement seeing the bisharp at an event such as this. It was not where she had expected to run into him again to say the least. This was in no way a bad thing. For Darina, this was a pleasant surprise.
Her ears rose to whispers from the mon around her.
'Why do you think he's here?' 'He looks like he could step on any of us.' 'Did he just look over here?... Maybe we should go.'
This pleased Darina, just by walking in the distance he could hold the attention of those around him. Though not the same, it was similar to how her subjects acted when she was present. While Zarathos struck fear into those at his feet it was clear awe was somewhere in the mix.
Darina noticed his gaze stuck on some snow warriors who were too busy playing to notice the dark figure in the distance. With his mask it was not clear how he felt about the sport but she would imagine he's one to scoff at such an activity.
Not many would expect a Queen to partake but Darina wasn't one to limit herself to expectations. Crouching down she balled a clump of snow in her gloved hands. Though it was not perfect, a sphere was molded in her grasp.
Pulling her arm back, she elegantly sent the snowball speeding through the air until it hit its mark. A direct shot to Zarathos' arm. Gasps we're heard by those who had seen. They looked from her to him dreading what might happen next. Darina simply grinned at him, "Care to join us for a round, Sir Zarathos?" Letting his name slip sweetly off her tongue.
