My muse is having a horrible nightmare, and is visibly upset. Send 😱 to wake them up!

“Wait... what? No you’re not.” They looked at him. “You’re special... and you’re not a bore”

“No it’s fine! Um... haven’t seen ya in a while... is something wrong?”

David shook his head and rubbed his neck. "Gosh, no, I'm doing alright." He replied, "how are you, Blue?"

“I’m alright... compared to the last time we saw each other at least” They shuddered.

He gave them a worried look, cringing at the memory. "Gosh, that's true... How have you been in terms of, well... That?"

“I’m alright... he hasn’t bothered me yet.” Red was genderfluid and for some reason Blue always just knew what he was at any given time. “I’ve mostly just been hanging out in trees lately.”

"Well... I'm here, alright?" David said, trying to seem as calm as possible, "if he ever shows up, every threatens you again, I'm here."

“Okay, thank you.” They paused. “Are you sure you’re alright?”

"Huh? Why wouldn't I be?" He asked, already having forgotten what Blue overheard, "I'm great!"

“Uum... you- I heard you- well.... okay then.”

“Wait... what? No you’re not.” They looked at him. “You’re special... and you’re not a bore”

“No it’s fine! Um... haven’t seen ya in a while... is something wrong?”

"Oh... Goodness, Blue, I'm so sorry. I had no idea.." He sighed sadly, rubbing his arm, "how about we try and do something lighthearted, to get your mind off of things?"

“Okay” They looked at a calendar on the wall... Once again it said the same, their birthday was today...

David didn't know what was so significant about the day, but if Blue was feeling down, he had to find a way to cheer them up! "How about... We watch a movie!"

“That sounds nice... I haven’t actually seen a movie with sound yet...”

"Goodness! I grew up with them, and even then it's still mind blowing to think about the progress!" He said with a grin, "I think you'll like them."

“Yeah... I think so too...”

“Yeah I’m alright. I’m just... today always makes me feel sad...”

"Oh... Goodness, Blue, I'm so sorry. I had no idea.." He sighed sadly, rubbing his arm, "how about we try and do something lighthearted, to get your mind off of things?"
