What Should I Write?

I had a dream that featured a book titled "I Love you but you're my therapist not my cousin and I'm in the middle of a session".

With the amount of antidepressants I'm on people think I should be feeling pretty good. It doesn't really work that way though. All those pills make it so that I can get out of bed most days and I'm not always completely terrified to leave the house.

A group of ladybugs is called a loveliness and I adore that. Ladybugs are also commonly called lady birds in the UK.

Today is one of those days that it's way too easy for me to become overstimulated. All the lights are too bright. Every sound is too loud. I overheat very quickly. My mind can't process information quickly enough and so my responses lag behind. I can't keep track of conversations because voices sound strange and the individual sounds don't string together to make words. People are too unpredictable. They move too much and each movement takes me too long to process. I take klonopin on days like this and it does help most times. Today is going to be one of the days when I need to hide away to keep from losing it.

This is Honey the Corgi. She just got the most intense belly rub. If you have a doggie at home take a second and rub their belly. If you have a cat do NOT scratch their belly. I've heard it won't end well. For other pets refer to the owner's manual for prime petting locations.

I've got OCD and my primary symptom is intrusive thoughts. It's like Satan has Tourette's in my head. Sometimes a terrible thought jumps up and all I can think is "Calm down Satan. Calm down."

The first thing I do when I get home from work is change into my comfy clothes. Every time I do I feel like I’m becoming my real self again. Shed the pretend adult and embrace the inner slacker.
