now that i’m older and understand how absolutely fucked the housing market is, all those horror movies that take place in nice houses where the family refuses to leave make sense. if i had a 4,000sqft vintage home you’d need to kill me before i ever moved out as well. fuck the ghost. charge it rent.

That last line is hysterical because I was living in an apartment once by myself that odd things happened in and the rent was super cheap. One night I went out in my living room because I’d heard my name get called and I was irritated and said, “Either cut this shit out or start paying rent because I will exorcise you if you don’t.” It was quite after that.

Advice I wish I would’ve followed or been given.

fun fact: one of the best ways to keep your mind sharp is to continue learning new skills as you grow older! it’s never too late to learn how to make your own clothes or resurrect the dead or grow beautiful flowers.
