While I do enjoy hearing about the actors and their discussion on the pitt I am not keen on how they talk about fans. I get it that being asked and having to see something that you've expressed a negative opinion on and would rather not see is annoying
What I mean is that I dislike how they insinuate fans are either shallow? (for Kingdon shippers: that they only like it because it's hot guy x nice girl for purely sexual reasons rather than the same reasons that the actors enjoy their dynamic) or straight up prejudiced (if you dislike Santos you hate women - especially if you're a fan of Langdon when they're two different characters with their own mentalities/morals/goals etc)
When Langdon went to Robby about Santos in ep10
Seriously though how did he know this?? minus the cherry picking bc nobody cares about that, was he even in the scenes about Santos wanting a rep from Javadi and the origin of Whitaker's nickname? He's always lingering
Whatever you do, do nawt think about how visibly emotional and worried Langdon became for mrs Azurmendi because he was very likely in the same situation as her.....
am I reaching? Yes
The colour of s3 Langdon top is tan but also it's pretty similar to taupe. and as Emily Prentiss said:
"Taupe walls. That's a negative colour. Cold, distant. Emotionally, taupe is linked to loneliness and the desire to escape from the world"

PATRICK BALL as FRANK LANGDON
➤• THE PITT (2025)
Irt langdon's marriage
people mentioning the wrongdoings of Langdon when it comes to the marriage - the dog, but I feel like it's not mentioned how he was at home for those 10 (or 9) months, he was there raising that dog alongside her!
if/when we get Abby Langdon i'm gonna be pretty sad if it just ends up with her being the perfect woman that never does anything wrong and is right in whatever she chooses against her bad husband Langdon who is the source of all tension in their marriage
when Penny & Tanner are older Langdon 100% is the parent that sends ominous and morbid texts.
"They're coming"
"who's coming????"
"The delivery guy with the pizza I just ordered came in 🥰"
Attending Physician Dr. Frank Langdon will never allow anyone to feel abandoned during an absence from work.
He’s meticulous about sending flowers for medical leave and a PTMC branded baby onesie for parental leave. He schedules calls in the week ahead of employees’ return to work so no one ever has to wonder what their first day back will look like.
And there’s always cake or some other little to-do on the day of return. And no the department wouldn’t pay for any of this shit, that’s all coming from his own pocket, and everyone knows it.

Langdon abandonment issues to the maxx
I like a Langdon who doesn’t know he has ADHD, who keeps self-medicating without realising it. A Langdon who chews nicotine gum years after he stopped smoking, who runs races, who tries cold plunges, who drinks coffee and red bull because he’s desperate for anything that makes him feel sharp, who fiddles and fidgets and rocks his leg as soon as he has to sit down.
A Langdon who can’t do his own taxes but can do anyone else’s when they ask, and doesn’t find out why until his son starts struggling in school.
making my pitt x hotd au and somehow I ended up robbylangdon-ify it bc why does Langdon have silverwing whilst Robby has vermithor
you can't watch any historical drama with Langdon otherwise he will go on a hours long rant about the inaccuracies.
I know we talk about Langdon and him diverting medication and diluting the lorazepam but I feel like people aren't asking enough questions - because sure, let's keep on pearl clutching that he filled it with saline BUT why specifically lorazepam? When would he have the time to dilute it? How and where would he have done it since we didn't see it in his locker? Why both lorazepam and librium? Why lorazepam if librium was more easily accessible, less dangerous since Louie didn't like taking them and longer lasting? How long had he been doing this? Why did he resort to taking from his workplace? WTF is going on with Dr. Hagan?
He was given painkillers (opioids) and muscle relaxors, let's say the muscle relaxers are benzos, lorazepam and librium aren't meant for that, also sources that I've read have talked about the dangers and risks of overdosing when taking opioids and benzos together so why was he prescribed them? Why did he feel the need to self medicate instead of going to his doctor? Was he suddenly cut off his prescription/had no proper tapering plan? Why did he use the benzos to deal with his opioid withdrawal (if we we're going by the actors' statements)?
My theory is this . He hurts his back and Robby doesn't take it seriously (he made fun of it) and doesn't give him enough time off .
I'm taking this from the fact that his first patient back was leg infection lady with the demanding boss who wouldn't let her off her feet and as a result she loses her leg. It's the first case Langdon and Robby are forced to sort of work together and Robby shouts at her boss but undermines Langdon for the first tim this shift . It also fits well with Langdon's visit in the ICU and his mood change from the cervical reduction to how he just wants to leave and is rather short with Robby (before the get help speech). Leg Lady lost her leg because of a demanding unreasonable boss and Langdon almost lost his career because of a demanding unreasonable boss . Also fitting in well here is the boundaries talk he had with Whitaker.
So he comes to work too early and on pain meds, takes them too long and gets hooked. Then manages to get himself off them with the help of the benzos to be able to work a normal workload . Now benzos are tricky to get off from. So my idea is that the taper his doctor put him on was too steep and he wasn't able to work on that so he came up with his own lower step approach but that takes longer and then the legal prescriptions stopped.
The vials for me are a visual tool so Santos and the viewers can grasp what is going on and I think the show would rather forget they put it in there. Neither Santos nor Langdon would realistically have access to those vials in the pyxis.
Yeah, that's what I thought since it's normally the nurses that handle those substances, but since Santos was using them in s1, I thought they were going a little bit unrealistic route to create the storyline
Also I think I didn't get my point across properly? That's my bad, bc we know it was from a legitimate injury but my point was why was he prescribed both of those if it's dangerous and why he resorted to stealing

Langdon listens to the TBOSAS soundtrack because it reminds him of the music he listened to growing up
