You know where would have been the perfect place to add some exposition for robert i.e. his skills as an engineer and his hardships keeping mecha man going on his own, his hopes for what he can do now with sdn's support. When we first see them testing the prototype pulse. But we don't get that. Why? Because invisigal shows up to sexually harass robert and make everyone uncomfortable.

I don't like that the game makes out that roberts a little oblivious about his own fucking mech. Like its like he's relying solely on royd, and in the conversation about the mech and the pulse they talk about gearheads and science nerds they could've put robert in the gearhead category. Which to me he is he's been repairing and maintaining that mech for like 15 years. I wish he was more involved in the rebuilding and designing of his mech, that we got more of him royd talking about it and how he managed for so long.

Something thats bothering me is why do they never explain why the astral pulse is so important. Its just a power source and the first mecha man didn't have it. Also if shroud made the original astral pulse why can't he make another? Why does he have to have original?

Hate when people reduce critique of invisigal to ship wars because i think the vast amount of critcism i've seen and that i have is about how she is written. And yes this does include the romance but largely because the writing of that is bad and it is weirdly inescapeable even if you choose the other romance.

Starting my second playthrough of dispatch now and i just noticed how his mecha man costume looks so big on him compared to how it fit him in the opening seqeuence. He looks like a little boy in his dads clothes😭

I hope the second season of dispatch you play as mandy as dispatcher. I mean it just makes sense giving the ending but also puts her at the focal point so we can learn more about her. Her origin story and why the fuck shrouds so obbsessed with her.

Mad af about how the game frames you as failing if you cut invisigal. Like if you dont lick this losers hole and let her sexually harass you, you've neglected her. I played it like i was trying to keep it strictly professional mentor relationship and i think i did a fucking lot for her but its bullshit of them to expect you to go against the whole team. Dispatch on sale and i have time off work so im finally playing it. I have to say i fucking hate invisigal jesus. Like what even is the writing for her. At one point she seems like an annoying as fuck troubled teen your trying to save. But then the next ep is her having a sex dream about you and behaving like walking sexual harassment case to violently remind you she's 27 and just acts like a petulant child.
